Showed FIFO or more suited for the worker accommodation. It served our layover purpose very well.
Pros:

Reception Staff were great. Beds gave us all a great night's sleep as we were travelling from Townsville to Brisbane and just needed to rest our heads. The structure and building has aged but again the price was within our budget. Great views from the balcony. Access to the main drag and close proximity to shops and the city. The connecting complex has a bar and bistro for meals.

Cons:

Building needed attention. Balcony floor panel is loose. Shower soap bar bracket was missing a screw. Paint is still undercoated. Trimmings and flashings upon entrance door showed poor tradesmanship with the paint. This place needs a passionate renovator/owner to give it sparkle again. So much potential.

The room was great but the carpets need a deep clean.
Pros:

The room was spacious and the kitchenette was very convenient

Cons:

The carpet was filthy. You could feel the dirt build up when walking on it and it would transfer to your feet so we had to wear shoes to avoid the disgusting carpet.
