The hotel is very well located, very close to the city center. There is a metro station at walking distance.
The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere , the people running it are welcoming and ready to help.
The room exceeded our expectations ,it was spacious ,very clean with nice furniture. It was fully equipped if you want to prepare meals . The bathroom was very clean .
Bed was comfortable.
If I were to come back to Lisbon I would choose Onj again.
Absolutely wonderful stay , hope to return one day . Great staff great room really clean awesome food every morning . Missed meet and greet each day due to exploration of lisboa .
The building is beautiful, with Portuguese tiling. Inside, it is beautifully decorated. The apartment was lovely, with Smeg appliances and comfortable bedding and furniture. This made snacks and easy dinners in the apartment very easy and cost saving. The bar/restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. It is a little more expensive, but the quality is excellent.
The staff are absolutely lovely. They really wish to ensure that you have a great stay. The accommodation is environmentally focussed, so the towels are changed every three days, and the sheets once a week. You can request it if needed.
It is in a less tourist area of Lisbon, which means a 15-20 minute walk to the square and main areas, which is completely okay if you are up for a walk. All of Lisboa has stairs and hills, so good walking shoes are a must.
My husband and I got such excellent help and service from their concierge we couldn't have been happier. We were greeted outside at our taxi and brought into what was a pleasant surprise and a much nicer hotel than we were expecting from outside and again - the concierge really seemed to genuinely care that our experience exceeded our expectations.
This is a lovely hotel and convenient location. Very friendly helpful staff. Everything is good except sound proof in the celling. Every day around 7am during our stay, we're woken up by at least one "elephant" above our apartment, the "elephant" (or "elephants") above apartment was either walking heavily, running sometimes and jumping. I briefly expressed this with the staff and she only apologised. This is the one downside to our stay. Apart from that I would have given it 5 stars.
Excellent hotel, well situated, very clean, the interior of the rooms is handmade craftswork! very nice provided with extra gadgets.
Before arriving , have been communicating with Carolina , Joao and Christiana and they always answered my questions precisely .
Likewise when we arrived . Prompt and professional service though I know they were very busy.
The apartments are clean , all amenities are wonderful . The pillow and mattress are very good
Be very careful if you plan to book this hotel with children — my experience shows that what the system confirms may not be respected by the property.
I booked this hotel via Booking.com for 2 adults + 1 child. The system clearly allowed me to finalize the reservation with 3 guests. On the screenshots I kept, you can see:
• the search was made for 2 adults + 1 child,
• the room option displayed an icon for 2 adults, yet the system still let me reserve it with a child,
• the studio is listed as 30m², which is more than enough space for a baby crib.
Despite this, the hotel later claimed it was “impossible” to book the room with a child and said it could not safely accommodate a crib. They demanded an extra €74 for an “upgrade” or refused to honor the booking.
When I refused to pay more than what I had already booked, they cancelled my stay but still applied the “non-refundable” policy.
This is a clear booking system error — but even more disappointing was the way I was treated. Their so-called “solution” of paying €74 extra was not a goodwill gesture at all, since I had no real alternative. It felt like being forced to pay more simply to have my confirmed booking respected.
The hotel is excellent.
Our room was very spacious with all the amenities necessary for a good stay. The welcome focaccia was a nice touch and the complimentary daily water needed with the hot weather.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is not easy to order, but they are there to help and on the second day we were fine. The choice is good and the portions a bit too big for my liking.
I like the fact that it is made on order, so there is no waste of food.
The room had a strange layout and there innovative light switch control wasn’t the best. I install lighting systems and this is a strange one. Also, you need your key in the slot to have the power on, when I went out it left my wife in the dark. You need 2 cards then. The rooms were very quiet and soundproofed and the Wi-Fi was very good. We had them book us a taxi for the morning to the airport, taxi was a no show and with their help they were able to get us a Uber to show up quickly. So an extra 1/2 star for that. Nice little Asian restaurant right across the street and an easy walk to Rossi and all the sights
Every member of staff went above and beyond standard service. The room was lovely and well equipped with quality products. Room was very clean and well maintained during our stay.
Included breakfast was also excellent.
If we ever return to Lisbon we will definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff , clean modern room in the heart of Lisbon. However during check in the hotel using their policy by taking a deposit of €100,-. I asked why you need that? The staff member said for possible damage or missing items of the room. I got a bad taste of this policy. Another policy what I don’t like is when you ask for an early check in at 14:00 you need to pay €25,- normal check in is at 16:00 cost nothing. In their advertising if you visit for 2nd time you have free check in costs. Gives me a bad taste too. It’s only to get more money from guests instead good service. I will not return to this hotel. There are better hotels in Lisbon.
Beautiful hotel with nice colors. A lot op space in the room. Very nice people. Breakfast in a nice and quit atmosphere. A lot of beautiful places can be visites by foot. We would return for sure.
A bit noisy because of the wooden floors but not too disturbing.
Horrible experience because of the unflexibility of the management. Staff is quick to try to sell additional services at simingly discounted prices. No way to cancel it or have it reimbursed even if the staff failed to book it properly and the service was not delivered. Ended up paying 137 euros for breakfasts that were never served. There was no way to have the sum used for breakfast the next day.
In addition, if you are on the street side, there is a manhole cover in the street making a noise everytime a car drives by. Quite annoying, as the street is quite busy.
Very impressed with this hotel in the old part of Lisbon. One of the reasons we chose it, apart from it looking very nice with good reviews, is that it had a lift - major plus point !! The rooms are very comfortable and location is ideal for exploring Lisbon. If you decide not to have breakfast in the hotel, there is a lovely little cafe called Copelia over the road which we used every morning. There is also a small shop over the road which sells everything you can need. Staff in the hotel are very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others. PS there is a great restaurant within 5 min walk called Romeiro's - excellent sea food plus other options.
Propre et convivial
Although the infrastructure of the hotel is good, I will never go back there!
I felt very unrespected by the operations manager Diogo, who tried to charge me 400,00 € because of a damaged television that I could not even use during my stay because it was already damaged (I informed the reception staff about the damage and they told me they were aware that there was a problem with it).
This is one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. The staff are excellent, they are so knowledgeable and friendly.
The accommodations are clean and the shower gel is fabulous.
Excellent breakfast too. We ordered the brunch, it was €12.
Deogo (sp?) was very responsive and helpful. We had a two bedroom suite with a bathroom, sitting area and table. We’ve been in Portugal for 10 days and these were the most comfortable beds we’ve had - marvelous!! We slept great. We were only here one night, but it was perfect for us.
SUCH a fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived the front desk staff was super friendly, helpful and informative. Our room was excellent- super clean, comfortable beds, all the kitchenware you need for a few nights stay. Cleaning and bar staff were also super friendly. We loved how welcomed we felt as a family and really appreciated all the extra touches from the hotel (complimentary happy hour by the fire pit was a family favourite, as were the curated gelato recommendations). We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and will absolutely recommend the hotel to family and friends. Other reviews mentioned safety concerns in the evenings- we found the area safe, well lit and zero issues. There are some rough sleepers, but this is the case in any city, unfortunate to see, but definitely not a safety issue.
