Extended Stay America Suites - New Orleans - Airport - I-10

This property is an active public safety hazard and completely neglected by management. During my stay across rooms 211 and 324, my key card failed at check-in and staff locked us out for two hours late at night. I was actively trapped inside their malfunctioning elevator multiple times, an issue local code enforcement is now officially investigating as a life-safety hazard. Furthermore, the hotel completely breached its own security policy; the front lobby doors were left wide open and unlocked 24/7, allowing unrestricted public access off the street. To make matters worse, my room refrigerator broke, destroying $75 in groceries. Management refused an immediate replacement or room swap, even though I photographed multiple brand-new replacement refrigerators sitting unused in the hallway during checkout. Staff were openly hostile, with one employee aggressively complaining that my check-in was interrupting her break. The laundry facilities also failed to spin properly, leaving my work clothes soaking wet and making me late for my job. Do not stay here under any circumstances.

Only complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable in my back hurt every night

I really feel i was over charged and need some of my payment bk .It was not worth $414

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable for a paying costomer. The floor was extremely dirty and sticky when I arrived. I ended up hand washing the floor myself because it felt so unclean to walk on. Probably ruined a towel or two they were so grey after.The hall could use a steam clean too. Bathroom sink front where you sit and look over needed a wipe too, but I left that dirty...so go check that today.

Management seriously needs to improve housekeeping standards and invest in proper cleaning equipment.... please go buy a steam mop, get a wash bucket, or something.

Guests should not have to clean the room themselves. I trusted the name of the hotel to have the same standards, but this fell short this visit.

I booked my room late for a late check in and received a confirmation to only arrive there a few hours later and had to wait one a day a half hours to find out that they canceled my room and charged me a cancelation fee.
