Great location. Comfortable room.
Pros:

location is perfect
information provided in advance excellent
room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Good shower
good idea to have the breakfast basket

Cons:

only downside was the fridge in our room was very noisy so we had to switch off overnight
A bit impersonal with no staff onsite
no wifi password information. I texted but we'd left by the time I got the answer

Different but pleasant!
Pros:

Lovely room, small but cosy and everything there that was needed.
Good location and decent price.

Cons:

Found it odd that there wasn’t someone there to greet guests. I have stayed at similar places but not one where you walk through a dark empty bar/restaurant to get to the room. Found that a bit strange and quite trusting of the owners.

Pros:

The location, close to access of the rampart walls and places to eat, was perfect.
Linda and Sandra, who do the housekeeping, gave us valuable tips and history. Super friendly locals 🥰

Cons:

Not being able to just park the car and leave it for the entire visit. However, the information given before booking in re parking was accurate and useful.

All in all, reasonably priced and decent.
Pros:

It was in a good position and the room was nice and warm. The staff were very nice.

Cons:

Maybe could have done with a couple extra pillows.

A great restaurant, but not a very pleasant place to stay in.
Pros:

Fantastic restaurant, staff and food. Excellent breakfast options.

Cons:

The access to the room, up narrow stairs carrying a heavy case. Not ideal for the elderly. Should be made clear when booking.
Room not really suitable for spending much time in.

A nice hotel at the end of town

The hotel was situated in the bottom end of the town by the harbour

Was cheap but not good. Would not stay again
Pros:

Location and parking were convenient

Cons:

Self check in. No staff around at all. Filthy carpets. Mattress was heavily bowed, needed replacing years ago.

Freezing room with almost uncontactable staff
Pros:

The location was good

Free breakfast but the items were random. Like jam and a plate but no bread?

Cons:

- so cold I had to wear a coat to bed since the heater never came on

- staff were very difficult to get a hold of. I had to call multiple times just to ask for the code for the door.

- housekeeping left my door open so all my belongings were at risk while I was away.

- the TV was right next to the bathroom so steam immediatly gathered on it when the bathroom door was opened after a hot shower.

- The rooms were really dark

Overall awful. Not at all worth the money. Would've been warmer sleeping on a bench.
