Its a little bit of a walk away from the main stations, which makes it quite peaceful and lovely. Lovely surrounding area, we were lucky to have a view of the pond & deer.
Absolutely worth the stay amazing friendly staff who are happy to help when ever needed.
Very helpful staffs, close to parks
Very lovely place to stay in Nara, much more than what I expected! Very convenient location 10 minutes from subway, friendly staff, and even more, there's a sense of community since it's the visitor center. Definitely a hidden gem in Nara!

It was an amazing stay! My family enjoyed the Traditional Japanese room. They provided jinbae to wear as PJ’s for each of us. We enjoyed being right on the visitor center and all the activities they offered for free. The Japanese bath room was a nice bonus! Will come back again.

Everything about this place is perfect. The staff were very helpful and kind, the traditional Japanese room was perfect, and the location was ideal.
We loved the location and walking distance to Nara Park and temples. The staff was amazing and very intelligent! Some of them spoke many different languages. They had many fun things to do and everything we needed as far as amenities. Starbucks right across the pond and shopping centers as well.
This spot was so unique if you’re looking for a traditional spot to stay in Japan. Nara is a beautiful city and ending up being my favorite in all Japan. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. I would recommend this spot to my family and friends.
Some things may be a little outdated in the Nara Visitor Center & Inn but it is the best bang for your buck in town & the staff was outstanding - so friendly & helpful! I’m so glad we decided to spend a couple of days in Nara instead of just doing it as the day trip that it is so often marketed as. Nara is it’s own destination & my favorite part of my whole whirlwind journey through Japan.

Location, staff, facilities are excellent. Stayed in Japanese room was brilliant. Only downside was a little aged and as a municipal building labels on everything. But the best value for money hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
touristy but not in a bad way. refreshing from the local homogenous flow. lots of different cultures an races merging. beware of deer poop *)
