Das Personal war der hammer! Sie waren total bemüht und waren sehr darauf konzentriert, dass wir uns wohl fühlen.

Stunning looking hotel and interior plus great location for exploring marina and old town

Cons:

Really could fault anything - drinks were pricey but it’s an upmarket hotel so go outside to other places and drink if that was too much

This hotel fails to justify its high price tag and is rapidly declining in overall quality.
Pros:

Prime Location: Great central location with only a single main road separating the hotel from the lively beach.
Aesthetics & Grounds: Beautiful building with an impressive, stylish entrance and lovely gardens.
Main Restaurant: Delicious food served by an excellent, highly professional staff.
Reception Staff: Friendly reception desk team (though some can be a bit chatty).

Cons:

Pool & Amenities: The pool area is dirty and poorly maintained. The poolside furniture is worn, damaged, and covered in bird droppings.
Poolside Restaurant: Service here was disastrous—untrained staff who couldn't prepare a simple milkshake, and they even served rotten salad with the Caesar salad.
Room & Balcony: Twin beds were not properly set up prior to arrival. The room balcony is far too cramped, barely fitting a single chair and a small table.
Fitness Room: A tiny, windowless, uninspiring gym tucked away in the basement.
Service & Management: Front desk staff fail to follow up on or address guest complaints.

Beautiful, luxury stay
Pros:

The most beautiful hotel and staff were so genuinely kind and helpful. Was my 4th time there and will return again. Really close to the centre yet it is in its own grounds. Amazing.
