Avoid this place
Pros:

Vastly overpriced resort, friendly staff and lovely food but everything else was awful. Kettle in room with cups but no coffee or spoons. Dirty. Broken cupboards. Broken tap. Fridge not plugged in I had to pull it out and crawl under the unit to plug it in.
Zero maintenance since it was built. Much, much better value properties in the area. Will not be going back. The photos are from when the place was new and bear no resemblance to the current state.

A nice stopover.
Pros:

The 28 minutes walk from the golf course is a bit deceptive but it is not far. Well sign posted on way in to the dam.
Had a river view room which was clean and large.
Restaurant had a good menu but only open until 7.30pm when I was there although it was low season and very quiet. Restaurant and bar combine with views over the river.
Tennis courts not open but again low season.
All in all a nice setting and I would stay there again.

Varee Valley Resort Excellent
Pros:

Varee Valley Resort is an excellent resort to stay at. Clean and spacious rooms and a good restaurant with excellent food. The staff is friendly and service very good. I will definitely plan a trip to this area again and stay at this resort!
