Hotel Pleta de Mar Grand Luxury, adults only – Preferred Hotels & Resorts

First the good: beautiful location, great food, amazing staff, lovely rooms, comfy beds, nice bathroom, wonderful outdoor shower.

Sadly, there are a couple of things that really let this place down so if you’re looking to stay, beware.

If you book a room which is described as having a ‘sea view’, prepare for disappointment. Yes, we could vaguely make out the sea through all the trees, but it’s at best a misleading description (we were in C05 - other rooms may be better).

The very friendly staff member that showed us around on our arrival ferried us in an electric vehicle and showed us what he described as our ‘private’ dedicated sun bed (which was miles away from our room).

The property is spread out on the side of a steep hill so if you’re near the bottom, you’ve quite an uphill hike to the restaurant which in 31° plus temperatures can be challenging. Conversely, if you’re near the top, the hike down to the ‘infinity pool’ is a slog and when you get there, you’ll only find six beds which are invariably all full.

Which brings me to my biggest gripe: at these prices it’s not unreasonable to expect there will at least be enough sunbeds for all the guests. We Brits visit places like Mallorca for this very reason. On too many occasions, all the sunbeds were taken and we ended up unable to sit by the pool.

I realise this review sounds rather negative which is unfair on the amazing staff that do all they can to make your stay special. Could be 5 stars but for niggles.

Amazing property and staff. You’ll not regret visiting Pleta di Mar and Can Simoneta.

Wonderful, quiet Hotel out in Nature!

Pleta de Mar exceeded our expectations in every way, from the service to the location, accommodations and restaurant. Extremely relaxing stay.

Excellent experience, we really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Staff, restaurant, atmosphere, all 10/10. Nice addition was the sister hotel which also could be utilized. Only improvement would be the sport facilities.

Absolut perfekt - ein Traum

My wife and I stayed at Pleta de Mar in Mallorca from October 19-23, and boy, did we hit the jackpot! The place is just stunning with its beautiful pools and access to a peaceful beach. It's like nature and luxury shook hands and built a place together.

The food was another highlight of our stay. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh goodies to kickstart our day, and dinners were a culinary adventure. Every dish seemed to tell a story of the local culture, which we absolutely loved.

A special shoutout to the staff for going the extra mile on my wife's birthday. They arranged for some beautiful flowers in our room, which was a sweet surprise that made her day even more special. It's the little things like this that show how much they care about making your stay memorable.

We can't recommend Pleta de Mar enough. The awesome vibe, the friendly staff, and the stunning scenery make it a perfect spot for a getaway. We're definitely planning a return trip to this little piece of heaven in Mallorca!

We had a perfect stay, beautiful location with stunning views, wonderful rooms, beautifully clean with comfortable beds & fab showers. Staff were extremely helpful serving delicious food at the pool side & in the restaurant. Perfect

Beautiful, serene location that is perfect for relaxation. It's a bit far removed, so if you're looking for exploration, definitely rent a car. Dining options, outside of the restaurant onsite which is very upscale, are also limited. The staff was also wonderful and very helpful. Probably best for a honeymoon or just truly looking to relax and recharge vs exploring Mallorca.

An incredible experience! From check-in to check-out the hotel and team spoiled us with beautiful menus and wine list, gorgeous room with luxurious sheets/furnishings breathtaking views and outstanding service! This is one of favorite hotels in all of the world. We will be back soon!

Der Aufenthalt gleicht einer Wohlfühloase mit wunderbarem Essen und fantastischen Ausblicken, ob im Restaurant oder bei den Pools. Die Zimmer hervorragend eingerichtet, bieten viel Raum und sinnvoll architektonisch gestaltet.

Wir wurden sehr gut behandelt und haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Bei meinem besonderen Vorhaben romantischer Natur wurde ich mit Herzensgüte unterstützt.

Bei Problemen wurde uns sofort geholfen. Es gibt immer ein offenes Ohr und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter.

We stayed at Pleta de Mar for 3 nights and wished it was longer. The property is world class, beautiful pools in sensational gardens. The rooms are great with a private outdoor shower and very comfortable bed. Restaurants of high quality and the service amazing. A unique and gorgeous dpot.
