The resort is simply amazing
I am gym enthusiast so I would have like a bit more choice
מלון מהמם על חצי אי באיזור פראי ולא מיושב. ההגעה היא באמצעות סירה של המלון שמתאמים לך לפי שעת ההגעה. השטח והמתקנים של המלון מאוד יפים וממש בתוך הג׳ונגל. הצוות מאוד נחמד ושירותי. קיבלנו באטלר אישי שדאגה לכל צרכינו.
לקחנו חדר עם בריכה ונוף למפרץ - החדר מרווח ומאובזר, ברמה גבוהה והנוף מטורף.
הארוחות ברמה גבוהה והאוכל טעים מאוד.
האקסטרות יחסית יקרות ואין אלטרנטיבות כי אתם בעצם על רצועת חוף של המלון בלבד שלא נגישה אלא דרך הים.
Cet hôtel est exceptionnel ! Le cadre, les villas, le personnel il n’y a rien à redire c’était juste magique. Un grand merci à Hung qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes avec un très très grand professionnalisme. Le restaurant est super avec des repas copieux pleins de saveurs, je vous recommande le Pho au bœuf au dîner. Petit déjeuner impeccable avec un large choix !
L’hôtel propose une piscine, diverses activités, vous pouvez même faire de la randonnée ou du yoga dans un cadre merveilleux.
Ne passez pas à côté de cet hôtel, et nous le pensons sincèrement ! Ce séjour a été notre coup de cœur dans ce pays merveilleux qui est le Vietnam !

A stunning resort and beautiful villa on the beach highly recommend
We had a fabulous stay at A Lam staying for four nights in January 2025.
Resort: beautiful set within Ninh Van Bay and unspoilt Jungle to the rear. There are treks from the resort which are beautiful.
Room: the room was amazing with a spacious deck, room and bathroom. Plunge pool was nice with gorgeous views of the Bay. The long, private staircase up to the room is a unique feature which we enjoyed and the elevated setting created lots of privacy. The best feature was being able to watch Black-Shanked Douc Monkeys (critically endangered) from the room every morning and evening as they would feed in nearby trees - an experience money can't buy!
Service: on the whole the service was good with staff being super kind and helpful. Our room would be cleaned while we were at breakfast every day without us needing to notify them we had gone for breakfast. I notified our butler I was pescatarian and all the staff knew thereafter without me needing to explain to each new waiter in the restaurant. Communication with the butler was easy through WhatsApp where requests would be answered straight away i.e. clearing room service plates, getting more water etc.
Food: the food was good with asian style dishes better than western style dishes. The breakfast was good with a great selection of food. The food will not be the best food you have while in Vietnam but there were some tasty dishes. This is an area which I think the resort could improve in. Prices are expensive for Vietnam however most 5 star hotels in my experience up the prices compared to prices in local restaurants so this was as expected.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and I consider it to offer great value for the quality of stay. the natural beauty and wildlife was particularly special.
Apart from some improvements to the food, I would not have anything negative to say about the property.
Super hotel, notre chambre était magnifique et spacieuse, surtout la salle de bain. Le staff et le major d'homme très sympathiques, parfois un peu trop présent même! Le cadre est idyllic. Accès relativement facile !
Le prix du homard était completement démesuré pour le vietnam en bord de mer ! Plus cher qu'à Paris !
The staff was absolutely lovely and very service minded. They made our stay wonderful! We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
Fantastic location and clean beaches
No Value for money. They seem to know you are remote and charge for everything such as a boat to mainland 2.5 and basic drinks 4 x that of other resorts. Food is very limited and expensive. The lights are always off in every facility. Their service understanding is poor. Unable to make any guest coffee and lack an understanding of food services in a big way for a 5 star resort. Including basic drinks and food orders that come out wrong. There was no sparkling water (supposedly run out for 4 days) and no effort to dress the resort for guests. Upstairs cocktail lounge is dated with no cushions set out feeling like it’s always closed. The pool is freezing! Facilities dated and often closed and look neglected. Rooms were clean but do have squirrels inside them keeping you awake at night. Guests stay at the retreat but it feels closed and cold. It feels like it’s heyday has well passed or they have no money to do the basic things which is such a shame. The western manager on duty was never seen and did not seem to be managing this resort for guests enjoyment.
The location is magnificent in the middle of the nature with a beautiful view on the bay. Our room was perfect and the hospitality was warm, both butlers, the spa personnel, and the whole team were amazing.
