Encantada Tulum

Another wonderful February visit to Encantada, one of my favorite places in the world. The staff are amazing and the beach beautiful. Love what the local businesses are doing with building up the ‘Sotu’ neighborhood…hopefully these efforts will continue and make progress with sidewalks, etc.
The concierge staff at the hotel are wonderful, Alejandra made our visit incredibly special (anniversary trip). This was our 7th or 8th time staying at either Encantada or Nest. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Encantada Tulum Hotel was extraordinary. The place is magical and very high end, while not at all stuffy. The staff is warm, friendly and competent. We went with our two daughters' families, in all a group of 8, and occupied 3 rooms. My husband's and my beach front room was the best, especially for the view, but all were first class. We will definitely return when we can.
Having been multiple times to Cancun as well as Tulum, sometimes staying at all-inclusive places but also small luxury hotels, on both work and high school trips, Encantada Tulum blew them all away.

One particular experience says it all... we were all down at the beach enjoying the morning. Mimi, one of the helpful members of the reception staff, came up to us breathlessly to tell us that the cleaning staff could not clean our room since we had inadvertently left the safe with all our credit cards and passports and cash wide open. Where else in the world would that have happened?

We have stayed at other Namrom properties (Xela and Nest in Tulum, and La Valise in San Miguel de Allende) and all feature caring and attentive staff, great locations and well appointed rooms. We had planned to stay again at Xela, next door to Encantada, but it was booked for a wedding. At Encantada, we picked a second story room facing the beach (Cielo) - which we loved - spacious, well appointed, with a view of sunrise over the Caribbean each morning from our bed and chairs and a hammock for lounging with a beach view - probably a better room than we had at Xela last year. One of the smart aspects of the hotel group is that you can take advantage of the group's amenities - the spa, Nu - their excellent restaurant across the street, and even the swimming pool at Radhu, also across the street on the jungle side, no matter which hotel you are staying at. The entire Encantada staff - the concierges, waiters, bartenders, etc. - are unfailingly helpful and friendly. The food is very good, although we didn't eat dinner there (there is a new restaurant space at Encantada that was just getting up and running). We are very familiar with Tulum and have a long list of restaurants that we visit each year (Nu is one of them). The hotel is located in the southern (quieter and much more sane) section of the Zona Hotelera. Highly recommended.

We stayed for a week and had a marvellous time. Encantada is small, eco friendly and luxurious. The beach is beautiful and the staff are kind and make one feel very at home. They will arrange outings if one wants but we enjoyed lying on the beach beds, reading and sipping margaritas! The upper ocean view room is wonderful. It gets windy but the view is spectacular.

Super helpful and friendly staff, location with idyllic and peaceful with good access to the rest of Tulum. Very comfortable and well worth it

Encantada is located in south Tulum, away from the busy center, but still close enough to walk and enjoy everything. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed. We loved everything about our stay: the beachfront location, the delicious food and best of all-warm & friendly staff that really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted. A bonus: the complimentary bikes that made it so easy to explore the area. We highly recommend this property and look forward to returning!

Do yourself a favor and book your Tulum stay here. Had an amazing relaxing week in this beautiful paradise. The team at Encantada made everything seemless and helped us take care of any request; spa appointments and reservations for dinner, etc. Beautiful boutique hotel in pristine Beach environment. We had a lovely welcome on arrival from BiBi. Our room was really nice. very large, clean and well equipped. I had been unwell on arrival and the hotel kindly arranged for a doctor to visit and the kitchen prepared foods that would suit my illness whilst staying. They really went above and beyond. The service was efficient and always friendly. Housekeeping was excellent too. The location is super - qt the very south of Tulum beach so it is quiet and relaxed and we slept really well. The beach is lovely for walks. Special thank you to Bibi, Ali and Andrea - always smiling & helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Encantada and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly outstanding - every single staff member was incredibly kind, warm, and personable, and they genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food deserves special recognition: it was hands down the best food we’ve ever had at a hotel, absolutely delicious and far beyond expectations.
The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and such a pleasure to be in. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. And the view was simply stunning. Waking up to such a beautiful view made the experience even more special.
This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would happily stay here again. They made our honeymoon an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

My husband and 17 year old son have just returned from a 12 day stay. It really was wonderful and I am very sad to come home to our cold house with broken heating in the UK. We stayed in the ocean front rooms ground and 1st floor and thought they were absolutely fantastic for sea view and proximity to the sea and beach. The bed was extremely comfortable. Initially we missed having a kettle but bought one for hot drinks with jet lag. We also thought we would miss having a mini bar but found the waiting staff - Ulises, Ricardo, Andrew and Ivan so fantastically attentive so it was not a problem. My son Cam was in a ground floor garden room which was also lovely and super modern and clean. Generally, the food was great from their restaurant - particularly the breakfasts and ceviche and tacos at lunch time. They would bring this to us on the beach which was very decadent too. I also want to mention how fantastic the reception team were - Bibi and Andrea got back to us so fast on our WhatsApp group, booking fantastic restaurants and sorting anything we needed including a taxi share with other guests to get to Zamna festival at 1230 and coming back at 4! I was delighted to see they were also opening another area for an Italian restaurant and bar as the only challenge with the hotel was not having an indoor area to eat or sit in when it was raining or very windy for our first few days. The whole team were also very sweet with Cam and my husband when they got bad stomachs from a poor choice of food truck on the roadside. Thank you again. Lovely hotel. We would be happy to come back.

My wife and I visited Encantada by chance on Dec 20, just to ask for directions. The receptionist gave us a wonderful tour of the place and allowed us to use the beach.

Thanks to Bibi I really enjoyed the place, and this will be my Togo place to stay during future visits. Thanks once again Bibi.

We had the most incredible stay at Encantada. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and taken care of. We had the room Nube, one of their newest rooms. It was gorgeous and spacious and sparkling clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
The staff are also really wonderful. They really genuinely care. We had breakfast included and enjoyed the granola and banana bread with amazing coffee latte every day. Ricardo and Angel the restaurant and beach staff were super nice and offered impeccable service. The beach and beach beds are so nice, everything is combed and set in perfection. We can't say enough good things about this. True relax luxury. We recommend this to anyone considering a really boutique experience.

Location is beautiful and quint. Rooms are a nice if you can get a beach front one. It felt like a home away from home. Such a nice vacation location

Spent 2 days at the beach club - when we paid the bill and left a 20% tip on the first day, the waiter asked for a personal tip on top of this. We politely declined and consequently were not served again at all on the second day.
Beach club is nice but not an enjoyable experience.

This was a very relaxing stay! The staff were fantastic! The only thing I could say is i think there should be a coffee maker and a tv for at night

Excellent service and location. Love the fact it's a small resort with just a few rooms so very private plus adults only. The only negative was the private dinner for what I expected and what was given was way overpriced.

This is a beautiful hotel, in a great location, and the service was excellent, the staff attentive, with great recommendations of tours, transportation, and rentals.
