Pawapi Beach Resort Koh Mook

should have stayed here for 7 nights but left after 4. We have been travelling in Thailand for over 20 years and we have never stayed somewhere where the staff were so unfriendly, never a smile. At breakfast restaurant an old angry man was running around kicking the dogs that came from the beach
the swimming pool was completely green and you couldn't see the bottom, I complained about it but was just told that everything was as it should be.

Beautiful location on a white sandy beach. Pleasant and spacious room. Friendly and accommodating staff. However the cost did not justify the experience. Breakfast rubbish, attention to detail of making up room and quality of room and amenities were 3 star and cost was 5 star (comparing it to ther experiences in Thailand). Many areas for improvement have been captured in other reviews but it seems nothing changes.

This resort is in a first class location on a long sandy, safe beach. There is a small town center within walking distance, but frankly taxi service is cheap and plentiful if you want to save wear on your flip flops. I read the reviews about a scam perpeterated on a customer who blamed the hotel however, the place is real, the rooms are splendid and I would say the only drawback at present is that the place is virtually empty, presumably because of the review regarding the scam. Would I recommend the hotel. Yes.

Our experience with Pawapi has been a disaster. We booked a vacation through Agoda (we have the confirmation) and were directed to your official email and website. When we were asked to make a bank transfer (number written on the official website), we did so because we could see it was your official web address where the bank account number was listed. Once we realized we had been scammed, we contacted you, and you said you had been hacked!!! (We have screenshots). After that, we heard nothing from you (we have taken screenshots of this). On your website we can now see that you know you have been hacked (written on your frontpage), but you have decided not to help us. This is very suspicious, and we have lost all our money. We have reported the scam. You can still refund our money. We Will not accept this.

Stay far away from this place!! They deny my booking even though I made an agreement with them through their resevation email from their own website. I have paid for 6 nights, but they say it is not them who wrote to me. But all dialogue has taken place through their reservation@pawapi.com email. They refuse to answer my emails and do not try to find a solution. Now stand to lose a lot of money as they refuse to help.. really bad service and suspicious behaviour. Beware of making an appointment with them!!

We cancelled our booking here and despite 4 messages to hotel and a phone call from booking agent - where they claimed they had forgotten to process refund I have still not received a refund - it’s been 5 weeks !
It does deter me from booking alternative dates that had been my intention. Beware !

We stayed at Pawapi Resort for 2 nights only after unfortunately making a bit of a mistake with the original accommodation we booked - which wasn't great at all!

We had a sea view villa, our villa was one of the last ones in the row at the back but it was still really nice. The villa itself is HUGE. Don't expect it to be super modern, they are slightly dated inside but this is still a relatively underdeveloped island compared to others in Thailand, so considering this we were really impressed. It was extremely clean, comfortable and everything worked perfectly - the aircon was amazing (it was almost too cold at times!) and the shower was great.

The infinity pool is stunning, really well maintained, quiet with there always being sun loungers and parasols available. The view over the beach is a real highlight.

The beach it's on it beautiful, the sun rises are stunning. It's really quiet yet only a 5 min walk to the beach restaurants and bars so really conveniently located.

It is on the expensive side in comparison to other accommodation you can get on the island, but my advice would be to be pay that little bit more if you want something on the nicer side.

Cancelled our reservation on the day of our arrival for no truthful reason apart from they’d overbooked we spent all day from 11-6 trying to find a hotel they offered us a very small dirty massage room at an alternative hotel we declined ! We eventually found a hotel for 1 night and intend to return today to the Pawapi as they’ve promised they’ll have a room for us today .. let’s see ?

I would say don't miss out here, the Pawapi Beach resort is under new management and the staff cannot be more helpful. We came here for my wife's birthday and had so many great experiences arranged for her. Take an early trip to Emerald Cave, a private speedboat with guide to lead you as you swim through the 80 meter cavern to the beach. As a treat, arrange for a boat to a sunset point with a bottle of Brut and strawberries. For something really special, how about private beach dining, a sea food basket of fresh fish, tiger prawns, calamari and crab served with rice and their special Thai sauces.
We have had the most wonderful time here at Pawapi Beach resort. What will you do here ?

Nice big rooms and hot water. Was very quiet when we stayed. Staff were very friendly. Not sure it's worth the price but anything decent on koh muk is bhat 3000+. Food was average. Better options in the village. "Perfect restaurant" located just 10mins walk away was excellent.

Terrible resort for the money! We booked 2 nights at pawapi resort for our honeymoon, we took the Vila beach, the balcony is nice and the staff is super friendly but other than that, everything is poor! No water pressure or hot water in the filthy shower.. I will upload some pictures that you can see by yourself. they took us to see other rooms and it was even worse, cigarettes smell and dirty everywhere.
We tried to cancel the second night and get refund but the sell manager couldn’t help cuz the cancellation policy issue.
after 3 weeks we travelled in this amazing islands in Thailand , and stayed at few 3 stars hotels, pawapi resort, you have a lot to learn about maintaining your place.

Das Personal war freundlich.

Leider passt das was alles was nicht sogut war, hier nicht rein.

Vi har tidligere bodd på nabo hotellet men det var fullbooket. Så da valgte vi Pawapi. Vi er veldig fornøyde. Bassenget, stranden og bungalow er veldig bra. De holder på å bygge ny lobby så neste gang vi kommer håper vi de har litt mer utvalg i restaurant og bar. Men veldig bra uansett.

Schöner großer Bungalow, aber dringend sanierungsbedürtig im Bad kein warmes Wasser und spärlicher Fluß aus den Wasserhähnen

Fantastisk lokation, få værelser og hyggeligt. Tæt på de lokale, gode muligheder for at spise på de lokale restauranter.
Fin morgenmad og fin mad generelt på hotellets restaurant.

Staben - bortset fra manager - er virkelig svære at kommunikere med, da de ikke er særlig gode til engelsk.

Rengøringen var ikke fremragende, på 8 overnatninger fik vi ikke skiftet sengetøj en eneste gang, de glemte ofte at give os nok håndklæder.

De faciliteter der reklameres med findes stort set ikke. Dog ikke et problem for os, da vi ikke bookede hotellet pga disse.

Fin pool - da den var blevet rengjort, før da kunne man ikke se sine egne fødder, når man var i vandet.

Man skal ikke forvente, at hotellet kan hjælpe med hverken transport til og fra hotellet eller diverse udflugter. De henviser blot til de lokale arrangører.

Bordlamper ved sengen og tørrestativ på terrassen vil være en dejlig tilføjelse til værelserne.

Vær opmærksom på, at hotellet opkræver betalingen ved opholdets start. Derudover har de for os opkrævet betalingen dobbelt, og de svarer generelt ikke, når man skriver til dem via Expedias funktionalitet hertil. Og man kan se, at de har læst beskederne.

Det skal dog nævnes, at ingen af ovenstående udfordringer ødelagde vores dejlige ophold på øen.

Men der er bestemt plads til forbedring og vi ser frem til at få pengene tilbage, som de har opkrævet dobbelt.

Vi boede på Pawapi fra 8.1-14.1 2020 i en hytte thai-stil (ikke de hvide bungalows på billedet). Hævet over jorden og med den skønneste havudsigt selv fra anden række. Det er et skønt lille sted, dejlig basic restaurant som Mr. Lee og hans kone administrerer på sødeste vis. Der er en skøn ny (oktober 19) swimmingpool med overflow lige ud til den hvide strand og gode liggestole og håndklædeservice. Gå-afstand til den lille by. Tidevands-forskellen gør, at stranden ligger halvtør hen nogle timer hvert døgn, men ud for de hvide nye bungalower er den rimelig fin.

Bra resort, vi blev uppgraderade då vi först fick mindre bungalow än vi hade beställt. Även gratis frukost. Tidvattnet gör att man inte kan bada mitt på dagen men det finns en fin swimmingpool.

The staff there ist extremely nice and helpful. The accommodation was modern and comfy.
Improvements: fruit shakes, a lattern to the beach, service at the pool.
The pool was very nice tho.

Dålig eller för det mesta ingen Wi-fi-uppkoppling alls i vår bungalow 🙁

Veldig fint hotell. Vi bodde i en villa med sjøutsikt. Store fine rom og god service. Veldig god frokost. Det var litt uferdig rundt rommene og dårlig med sti frem til resepsjonen. Ellers veldig bra.
