Cons:

Nicht behindertengerecht: mehrere Stufen zum Frühstücksraum, hohe Stufe im Zimmer zum Bad. Aufzug ab 22Uhr nicht mehr zu benutzen

Sehr praktisch für einen Stadtaufenthalt.
Pros:

Die Lage am Obermarkt - mittten in der Altstadt - erlaubt die Mehrzahl der "high-lights" fußläufig zu erreichen. Dies betrifft auch die Auswahl der Restaurants, da Hotel Italia nur als Garni-Hotel geführt wird. Startplätze der Stadtrundfahrten in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
In einem Haus aus der Renaissance-Zeit ist man überrascht über die weitgehende Erfüllung der heute gestellten Anforderungen. Das gilt auch für den Nostalgie-Aufzug in die oberen Stockwerke.

Cons:

Das Hotel verfügt über eigene PKW-Parkplätze in der Nachbarschaft; eine Vorreservierung wurde allerdings aus unerklärlichen Gründen abgelehnt, obwohl genügend Plätze vorhanden waren.
Für Getränke steht ein Kühlschrank zur Selbstbedienung zur Verfügung. Die Bestückung hätte umfangreicher sein können. So fehlte leider Mineralwasser während des 3-tägigen Aufenthalts.

Sehr zu empfehlen
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und nicht verwohnt. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist top. Der öffentliche Parkplatz direkt gegenüber macht das Parken unkompliziert. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Beste war das Frühstück - das wurde mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet, köstlicher selbst gemachter Eiersalat, das Rührei kam nicht aus dem Kanister sondern wurde mit frischen Eiern frisch zubereitet, italienische Vorspeisen ... und der Kuchen ... ein Gedicht! Eine Klimaanlage fehlt, wir hatten aber das Glück, dass wir bei der aktuellen (warmen aber nicht heißen) Witterung keine brauchten.

Alleine wegen des Fahrstuhl-Events lohnt sich der Besuch. Wenn man sich vorstellt, damit zum Empire State Building hochzurauschen ... ;-)

Cons:

Es war keine Minibar verbaut, das entsprechende Möbelstück war aber vorhanden. Wir haben eine große Anzahl an Mini-Kühlschränken gelagert in einem der Flure gesehen. Wir gehen davon aus, dass Diese zur Zeit ausgetauscht werden. Ersatzweise gab es einen großen Kühlschrank im Foyer. Hier konnte man sich (kostenpflichtig) bedienen.
