Ver nice overnight stop
Pros:

Nice upgraded room, with a balcony. Excellent dinner in the restaurant and a nice buffet breakfast. Hood views

Lovely hotel in the old town.
Pros:

Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with a decent shower. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Plenty of secure parking. Its a walk down the hill into town and we found a lack of choice of restaurants, but we did have a fun weekend in town, and there's plenty to see in the old monastery including a zoo. We spent quite a few hours there.

Cons:

There is an indoor pool but you have to pay to use it and book a session. We didn't eat in the restaurant, which seemed to have a set menu and was fully booked before we arrived, so we ate in town.

Schön, praktisch gelegen, freundlicher Empfang
Pros:

Lage des Hotels, abgeschlossene Parkmöglichkeit, und Restaurant im Hotel. Da wir nur einen Übernachtungs-Stopp einlegten, war das perfekt. Konnten in drei Stunden von Besançon noch einiges besichtigen.

Cons:

Ich fand es etwas teuer, wir hatten nur ein Classic Zimmer gebucht (gutes Bett, schönes Bad) es gab also keine Aussicht und das Zimmer lag am Fahrstuhl (geräuschvoll) und dafür war es doch teuer. Das Restaurant war nicht so gut wie erhofft.

Pros:

Très belle bâtisse. Emplacement surplombant la ville. Bon petit déjeuner avec produits locaux.

Cons:

Accueil non à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles. “Hôtel spa” où le spa est en supplément (35€/pers/2h). Accès au spa sur réservation puisque uniquement adapté pour 4 personnes et composé d’un bain à remous et d’un petit hammam.
C’est la première fois qu’en nous rendant dans un “hôtel spa”, le spa est une option.
Parking disponible mais non annoncé payant (20€/j).

Le lieu très calme, une bonne literie. Personnel agréable.

Cons:

Nous avons été surpris que l’entrée au spa n’était pas comprise dans le prix de la chambre! Rien ne l’indiquait lors de la réservation et 35€ nous a semblé bien prétentieux…

Pros:

Die Lage, sehr gutes Restaurant, Parkplätze am Haus, Frühstück i.O., freundl. Personal und zuvorkommender Service.

Cons:

Mussten u/Gepäck selbst zum Zimmer bzw. zurück zum Fahrzeug bringen, wenn man dem Navi gehorcht - nicht ganz einfach zu finden.

The room was big and comfortable

Cons:

As a starter, the check-in was fine, I was given the key but not other information was shared as to wifi code. When I later inquired about that information, I was greeted with the French "but I have given it to you" answer. No, you did not. Then the audacity to charge 35 EUR for a jacuzzi for 2 hours person with a sauna, is a joke. We declined. I expected to eat at the Hotel Restaurant on Sunday night but we were told oh no its closed until Tuesday. Would have been great to know this earlier, the options available in town were pretty much unavailable. Lastly, it would be great to offer a 2nd pillow on bed. Luckily I travel with my own pillow but without that it would have been really uncomfortable.
