Early check in.
Room wasn’t fully clean, internet was not working (had to use my own hotspot), pool was not usable because it was so nasty, coffee thing was left in the dispenser, the lady refused us gravy at 8:21am. Said what’s there is what was there. Just not pleasant at all. Especially for the amount I pay to stay here and I’m a repeat customer.
Close to interstate, room good size, good breakfast
Bedding was stained and pool had very poor lighting and door stuck
Paris was incredibly kind professional and provided excellent service
We did not get the room we paid for, was told it was unavailable. The room we had was DIRTY. The room had dirty towels and the toilet was disgustingly dirty. Had to go down and it was not super easy getting a new room. Was told multiple times we don’t have what you booked available. Not worth the money.
The staff was wonderful so very helpful and the breakfast with cinnamon rolls was tasty
Great breakfast & very convenient off the highway! Nice pool. Property needs updates in general, though- several well worn/loved areas :)
Great place
I was ask to produce my CC when it was already paid for. I don’t travel with it!
Excellent check in and the room is great!
Dog friendly and clean
Clean
Best Inn in Rantoul
The hotel was nice, but no TV service. I’m sure this was temporary, but still disappointing. The breakfast, however, was excellent! Many options and very well maintained :)
The breakfast wasn’t great but it was somthing
Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. Great coffee in the breakfast area. Nice selection for breakfast.
Saturdays breakfast was cold. A couple in our party had no working TV for 2 days. We prepaid all rooms and a couple in our party got charged for their room. Hope that gets resolved. He couldn't get a receipt upon leaving that stated zero balance. All rooms(we had 6) were supposed to be Kings and we had a Queen. Rooms were all sold out so couldn't switch.
Very slow check in process.
Hotel is directly across from Rantoul baseball facility. Perfect location and right near the expressway.
Broken tiles in and around shower; missing caulking in and around shower; broken hair dryer; out of service ice machine; not up to expectations for $150 a night.
It was a good nights stay and a good breakfast. It was about 30 minutes from our venue but not bad. Holiday Inn is dependable.
All staff I interacted with were polite and friendly, including front desk, breakfast worker, and housekeeping.
I want to give a special shout-out to the very kind young woman staff member whose job title I'm unsure of. She was wearing a black shirt with black pants (I think), and she had an orange scarf around her head and was African American. When I got to my room after check-in, the key wouldn't work. She went upstairs to help three times for me and got a new key made--but there was some misunderstanding on my part, and I wish I had thanked her properly and given her a tip-- I'm a senior citizen and was too tired to think at that point. She was just 5 minutes from ending her shift as well. It was about 9pm on August 4th. If there is a way for me to send her a tip, please contact me on my email. My name is Constance Conklin, and my email is crcmybills@gmail.com. Thank you!
