Sehr gutes Haus on the coast, but deep in the „Heart of England“, von uns sehr zu empfehlen.
Pros:

Wunderschön in einem kleinen Park gelegen, fußläufig zum Ort, der nicht so attraktiv ist. Aber viele Lokale. Best Fish and Chips ever im Marine! Alles wie in England oft üblich in die Jahre gekommen, aber mit Charme! Publikum, wie wir etwas älter, aber gehoben. Alles sehr ordentlich, sehr sauber. Frühstück und Abendessen sehr gut, Personal Klasse und super freundlich. Sicherer Parkplatz. Alt, aber stilvoll!!

Cons:

Wir hatten kein Zimmer mit Balkon, sondern direkten Zugang zum Garten, nicht so toll, lieber darauf achten, dass man ein Zimmer mit Balkon bekommt. Für Empfindliche wie mich ganz schlecht, eine grüne Leuchte unter der Decke, die gefühlt etwa 4 m hoch ist (und schwer zu erreichen war 😉) und nachts leuchtet, für mich fast Flutlicht. Bei Empfindlichkeit Augenklappen mitnehmen!! Betten etwas weich.

Enjoyable 4 night break in Sidmouth.
Pros:

Food was excellent, in both choice and quality. Staff were all very polite and efficient.

Cons:

Dining room was fine but other public rooms need some attention - eg, the table & chairs in the bar.
Bar room is the smallest I've ever been in, a party of 4-6 would fill it.

Cons:

Twin beds were very uncomfortable. They were very old and tired. The mattresses were noisy and lumpy. They need replacing..

Excellent - definitely a visit next year
Pros:

This is our third visit and things have not changed.

Cons:

We could not find fault with the hotel, the weather could have been a little better but that did not stop us from from enjoying ourselves

Lovely hotel, service, food and garden setting in a quaint seaside town.
Pros:

A lovely old house, well maintained, fabulous gardens and in a quiet and convenient location. The staff were all very professional and a pleasure to deal with. A very good kitchen serving excellent home-cooked food. They were also happy to have our two dogs staying.

Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Near to the town but quiet
Pros:

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Breakfast - lots of choice and a pleasant breakfast room. Comfortable bed and modern, clean bathroom. Lovely grounds and ideal location to walk into the town. Very quiet.

Cons:

Not the fault of the hotel but it was very hot weather during our stay and the bedroom was too hot. This was to be expected in an older building with no air conditioning. Luckily, a fan was provided in the room which helped a little.

Nice location in a parkland within 10 minutes walk of Sidmouth

Cons:

It felt rather sad..and frankly had the feel of a retirement home. I wouldn’t stay there again….No fault of the hotel, but I am not ready to stay in an old folks home yet.

Another great holiday at Hunters Moon
Pros:

This was our fourth stay at Hunters Moon and once again everything was excellent.Location is perfect set back from the main town are in a parkland

.Bedrooms are spacious with modern facilities.All meals offer variety and wide choice and attractively presented

Many of the guests have stayed their before which is an endorsement in itself.

Ultimately it's the people who manage and work in the hotel that count and without exception are excellent..
