Very comfortable hotel, excellent location and Sidmouth is delightful!
Pros:

Room was very comfortable, lovely beds. Bathroom was huge and though it was a shower over bath (not our favourite) it was P shaped with loads of space and strong hand holds. Having a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking the garden was a bonus. Breakfast was excellent - sensibly you choose items for a full English (inc fish) rather than barter.

Cons:

Its a dog friendly hotel but you cannot take your furry friend in the restaurant so we couldn't eat there, though this wasn't a problem for us, plenty of eateries in Sidmouth! However, breakfast for us and our dog was served in the bar where there were only 2 tables...the first morning we had to wait 25 mins for a table :(

Great place to stay in Sidmouth
Pros:

Great room and location of hotel in relation to Sidmouth town centre. Very professional and efficient staff. Plenty of parking.

Cons:

Could do with more lighting at off road access to hotel drive, as returning on foot after dark is not safem

pleasant stay
Pros:

the room was pleasant, Parking was easy , easy to walk into Sidmouth. Staff were good

Cons:

bathroom a bit tired. Main corridors of the hotel are also tired. The breakfast was ok but just ok.

Would recommend and stay there again
Pros:

Staff lovely. Pretty location. Very close to town centre. Lovely grounds. Warm hotel, everything worked. Comfortable. Quiet. Super breakfasts.

Cons:

Tap a little stiff. Decor maybe a bit tired in places but these things didnt matter as so much was good.

Wonderful weekend break at Hunters Moon hotel. Friendly, clean and excellent position for a short walk to the seafront.
Pros:

Beautiful house and gardens. Friendly clean and great positioned in Sidmouth , being a 15 min walk to the sea front.

We would come again. A lovely hotel
Pros:

Rooms spotless and well maintained. Bed was comfortable and bathroom looked brand new and immaculate.
Breakfast had everything! From the cereals, fruit, to the range of cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Not much to say here. We were “encouraged out of our room” one morning after breakfast, by the cleaner!

A pleasurable experience all round
Pros:

The hotel had a lovely feel. Nice period property with beautiful garden/grounds.
Parking easy. Staff were super friendly and attentive.
Evening meal in the dining room exceeded our expectations. It was delicious and extra portions of veg and potatoes were offered. We felt prices were also good.
In the morning breakfast also as good if not better than many others we have had.
Would recommend to friends and family.
It was within walking distance to the coast (but we drove on this occasion)

Cons:

I found the shower over the bath a little tricky to operate and get just right. But managed eventually. My wife managed it better than me.
