Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Close to the airport terminal with access via the tramway. Breakfast although not included, was worth every penny and a great selection to choose from.

I did not like that there really wasn't privacy with the bathroom. The seats in the rooms weren't properly cleaned nor was the furniture there was hair of previous guest or animals. Refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. Not enough towels for guest. The restaurant was great staff was amazing. Breakfast was very good. I definitely would return but it will not be my first choice.
The people who man the front desk were very accommodating and nice. I would definitely stay there again!
I didn’t like that there were no in house dinner accommodations.

I liked that the rooms seeemed sound proof. I could not hear other people at all, which was nice.
I was afraid to use anything in the room out of fear of getting charged for it. So I did not use anything. I focused on sleeping bathing and leaving this untouched and the way I found them.
Spelman College Reunion Weekend was made even more spectacular by the Renaissance Hotel Staff from the Front Desk to the Lobby Bar to the beautiful hotel room on a high floor. Their smiling faces and enthusiasm for our Reunion happiness shined through.
Had a really nice stay at the Renaissance Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel. Everything was good from start to finish the room was comfortable, the service was good too, and the overall atmosphere was great.
I was badly injured by a faulty chair in my hotel room, which caused me significant bodily injury. I immediately notified the hotel staff, who seemed totally unprepared to address the situation. They did not even bring first aid supplies when they first arrived at my room. The broken chair was removed from my room when I asked them to, but I was never offered to be moved to a different room, nor did they comp the stay due to the injury to me. The hotel staff have been impossible to reach despite multiple attempts via both email and phone. This is an embarrassment and total lack of customer service, especially for a guest that is Marriott Ambassador Status. I do not feel that this property took my safety and well-being seriously to say the least.

Paid via Booking.com and reservation confirmation emails were all received both from booking.com and the hotel itself. upon arrival after a very long flight from the UK, staff said they had no record of the booking, despite me showing proof and having a restaurant booking at the hotel also confirmed, and that they had no rooms. I was left late night in a strange city to find an alternative room. Staff at the hotel couldn't care less.
As far as airport hotels go, this is a great option.
Getting to and from the airport couldn't be easier with the skytrain directly across the street. The hotel itself is very modern and felt extremely clean and airy.
The room was great for a single night before flying out the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the room maintained a good temperature. The work space was great to get some work done at the end of the day.
The real highlight was the bathroom which was a great size with a really wonderful shower. The rain showerhead was great as was the hand-held wand. Water pressure was great.
Hotel gym is adequate for a quick workout.
Overall, I'd stay here again if I needed an airport hotel.
Imagine you book your birthday getaway to ATL & reserve your rooms with @renatlgateway @marriottbonvoy only to be told the price doesn't exist & it's a glitch...
To provide more backstory, the app allowed me to reserve this beautiful establishment at an amazing price; however, the email confirmation only showed 1 room. What magically happened to the 2nd room? I called to double check & was told it’s a “system glitch" & they are unable to honor the rate.
Please note that I called the reservations line for the hotel & they also advised that even as a Platinum Elite there was nothing they could do but open a case. I am 3 weeks away with no hotel now & they are offering me nothing to right this wrong. Be careful booking here.
