Construction, renovations going on all around this area. City Square mall which is a nearby mall is going through full upgrading/shutdown.
Noise level of vehicles and motorists honking ramming engines at night lasts a few hours even though we were at 18th floor

Room was nice big and spacious. Breakfast spread was excellent with a wide array of different foods from various parts of the world.
Staff at Front Desk and at the breakfast place was very courteous. Had an issue with the wi fi on my computer, which was instantly sorted by the IT guy who was so helpful.
Location was good as it was close to the JB Sentral Station and the Johor Checkpoint- was super convenient for us coming from Singapore. Also, it is located in the close vicinity/ walking distance of Malls/ Night Bazar/ Pubs etc.
While the Hotel was located in the heart of the activity in JB, the access to the place because of construction around the area was a little difficult. However, once construction in area is sorted this won't really be an issue.
First time trying out this hotel just opposite City Square Mall. My family has rated the stay 5 out of 5. Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Water pressure was great. The 18th floor view was nice. We enjoyed playing pool and table soccer at the games room (at Level 6). The gym had enough equipment and was spacious. Hotel buffet breakfast had a wide spread and the food quality was good. Staff service in the hotel was great. Last but not least, there are many nice restaurants below (such as Haidilao) and nearby. And of course, shops too. Will stay here again in future

The staff was very prompt to address our concern. We received a written letter acknowledging our concern and a small gift for our feedback
The breakfast buffet bread and pastries are all stale and not freshly prepared. There is no salt n pepper on table as expected of a 5 star hotel

Staff were unefficient, uninterested and not very helpful. Lots of staff on arrival floor, but have no idea or info when asked in Malay or English.
Check in is at 3pm did not receive a room until 5pm.
Room was not cleaned and bagged rubbish (from my bin) was left on my bed, on the 2/5 days I requested a clean.
Bathroom is also full of mould.
