Food was delicious beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The staff provided excellent service, namely- Lynn, Fakhrurazi, Harry, Nasrun & Dimas. They out of their way to assist us. The event room spacious & aircon was comfortably cool. Sound system worked seamlessly delivering clear & stead audio without any glitches. A truly pleasant experience overall. Thank you Amari.

I may be a little late writing this, but this Ramadan buffet at Amari hotel in Johor Bahru has been on my mind ever since that night—and for all the right reasons.
It was a busy Saturday Iftar dinner, and the restaurant was completely packed, yet the whole experience still felt incredibly enjoyable. The spread of food was truly impressive—so much variety, beautifully presented, and most importantly, absolutely delicious. Every section had something worth going back for, but the Thai beef noodle station really stood out for me. The chef and staff there were patient despite the crowd and served generous portions with a smile—definitely one of my highlights. Love!!
What made the night even more memorable was the service. Big kudos to Teresa (I believe she was the restaurant manager). Even though she was clearly very busy, she still took the time to personally assist my elderly aunt with getting her food and even suggested dishes for all of us to try. That level of care really meant a lot. She, along with the rest of the team, remained friendly and smiling throughout the night despite the heavy crowd—something that’s not easy to maintain.
If there’s one small downside, it would be my seating location right next to the ice cream machine. There was a constant queue of diners, and the machine broke down a couple of times. However, the staff handled it quickly each time, which I really appreciated. Honestly, it didn’t bother me much—in fact, it gave me the chance to chat and connect with some of the people in line, which added a nice, unexpected touch to the evening.
My family and I truly had a great time. The atmosphere was lively and festive, made even better by the live band and dance performances. You can tell that every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed to create a memorable Ramadan dining experience.
Definitely a night to remember—and one I’d gladly repeat.
