it was a short stay. convenient, comfortable, super plus point was the staff was really friendly!
Pros:

quick and smooth check in. staff was friendly and room was ready when I arrive. I had requested for a slightly earlier check in and it was good.

Cons:

there was a musky smell in the room and the air-conditioning was not working well. It was on, but the room was definitely not cool. I stayed for one night only so I did not say report or complain about it.

Area of improvement - The service at the front desk can be improved. Be more flexible to suit business people like me which have tight schedule during business trip.

Pros:

Location was excellent, right next to world heritage sight.

Cons:

The single queen bed in one of the rooms ,bedsheet was dirty. Was not changed at all.

Cons:

I’ve been spending my Hari Raya at Ibis Melaka for the past 7 years. I think the swimming pool needs major repairs. The children’s slide is rusty and loose, and the pool floor also needs fixing—the stone tiles are coming off and can hurt your feet.

Fab staff and location
Pros:

Great staff very friendly and helpful in particular the ladies on the check in . Location was great 5 min walk to river and Dutch sq
Very clean room and overall hotel
Was good pool was nice but could do with some new sun beds and a few repairs

Cons:

Our safe didn’t work unfortunately despite the staff efforts this was not resolved
However not too much of a problem

Cons:

Towels were old and some had runs.
TV would.not switch on

Fire alarm went off and no one from the staff called us to Inform us what happened and what to do. Eventually called and found out someone smoked inside the room. But people were outside in the corridor wondering what happened.

Hotel is within walking distance to Jonker Street. But for the amount paid can get better hotel

Cons:

No hand towels and used toilet roll was provided (with no additional roll ). No shampoo or conditioner was provided. Tissue box provided was also half full only (used). For quite a new hotel , not seem very well maintain .

Buen lugar para alojarte
Pros:

El hotel está muy bien, limpio, tiene piscina tanto para adultos como para niños, y un pequeño parque para ellos con toboganes. Está cerca andando del centro pero la zona no es muy bonita. Igualmente es seguro y fuimos andando a todos los lados. El desayuno completo y rico.
