Clean rooms and good room service

Only about transportation changes two buses because of construction was difficult for older people

Very far from haram

I was not offered the room type I booked

there is no
shuttle service for 24 hours

there is only one bus and it has its pwn timing and even not for every prayer time.
bus go toward haram 2 to 3 hours before prayer and after prayer bus come back from haram after 2 to 3 hours mean bus is of no use .

and taxi charge 15 to 20 riyal by 1 side

Very clean and somewhat modern with great service

Alhamdulillah, I had a peaceful and comfortable stay at Ibis Styles Makkah during my Umrah journey. I want to sincerely thank all the staff — from reception to housekeeping — for their kindness, patience, and excellent service.

The reception team was always helpful, respectful, and welcoming. They answered all my questions with a smile and made everything easy from check-in to check-out.

The cleaning staff kept my room fresh and clean every day. The entire hotel was quiet, organized, and perfect for a spiritual trip.

One of the best things is that the hotel is located close to Masjid Al-Haram — it’s easy to reach by shuttle or taxi, which made my visits to the Haram smooth and convenient.

I’d love to stay here again in the future, InshaAllah.
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Makkah for Umrah or Hajj.

Room was in very poor condition it was dirty, the carpet was dirty, the sink drain was broken, the bedding smelled bad, the bathroom was dirty and the towels were used and dirty. The location was not too far from the Haram, but the room condition was really bad. I stayed at an Ibis hotel before but this Ibis was poor.

I will give 10 out of 10 everything was perfect I love the way they treat their customers is excellent, in addition their free shuttle service to haram and breakfast was fab.

The hotel was shut shut down by the local authorities. You can imagine our shock when we reached at 1am,with a young child and elderly parents.
Neither they or hotels.com bothered to inform us.
We had to pay a premium to find alternative accommodation at such short notice. Don't even get me started on the stress and hassle we had to go through.

Hotel was shut down by the local authorities.
They're now refusing to refund my booking, despite them being shut down.
What stupidity.
Thankfully, we are protected by regulations such as the Section 75 claim.

We had exceptional service from staff

Avoid booking this hotel.
The hotel has been non operational since Feb 2025 and nobody bothered to let us know. You can imagine the shock my family and I had to endure upon arrival at 2am on the 4th of March. We had to find alternative accommodation at short notice, which meant paying a premium.
Expedia were useless too. There was no way of getting through to customer services.

Value for money. I will stay again in future.

The place is amazing and what made it amazing is the cleaning staff especially ibrahim he always would greet you with a smile and willing to help you with anything. Next time when I comeback i’ll try my best to tip him.

The front desk staff was very friendly. Overall, it's a very good hotel except for the shuttle. The shuttle stops near the Marwa, so it's far away from Haram.
