Pros:

Very bad experience with Ginger Lucknow. The whole building was stinking. Management must focus about maintenance.

Great experience
Pros:

Location was convenient. this was my 2nd visit to the hotel. I would prefer to stay in the same hotel on my next visit to Lucknow. The ambience and Rooms were good. Need a discount on my next visit.

Cons:

Night lighting is not too much while sleeping. which was good.

⭐️⭐️ and that’s being generous
Pros:

I get that Ginger is a budget hotel, but untrained, careless staff is not part of the “budget” promise.
From the first call itself, it was downhill: indifferent responses, booking errors (wrong dates, wrong name), and all emails addressed to me from the hotel by Abhishek Shukla as “Dear Sir” (apparently women don’t book rooms?). Refund still pending after 15+ days. BF request not acknowledged.
Every query was lazily redirected to central reservations without listening. One person from central reservation confirmed the availability of a complimentary queen bed, the receptionist Roshini charged rs. 1000 extra for the same room, different bed at check-in. Consistency clearly is not on the menu.
Zero welcome, zero basic briefing on WiFi, restaurant, or facilities, something even an OYO manages. As a single woman traveler, this felt dismissive and frustrating.
Lesson learnt: better rates on other platforms don't waste your time with central reservation. They will ask you if you got better rates and will then match it.

Ginger Lucknow? Just a waste of money and patience.

Good location in Gomti Nagar and very friendly helpful staff especially Suryanarayan and Ilma. Little too pricey for the small room, and room is missing some small details which would make the stay even better.
