Salatan Resort

Saimme parhaan rantamökin, aivan metrm rannassa, pieni nurmikko ennen hiekkaa. Vieressä siisti uima-allas merinäkymällä. Rauhallisella paikalla, mutta pari kivaa ruokapaikkaa lähellä, eikä kaupan ja muiden palvelujen äärelle ole pitkä kävelymatka. Löytö tämä majapaikka.

Wunderbares ausgewogenes Frühstück, süss oder salzig, Ei , Obst, Müsli, Saft etc auch Mittagessen möglich.
Herrliche Lage direkt am Strand (fast menschenleer) mit grossem Pool, viel Grün mit exotischen Bäumen und schattigen Liegeplätzen.
Familiäre Atmosphäre und liebenswertes Personal.
Die Aussicht aufs Meer (Osten) ist traumhaft, bei Ebbe sind Wanderungen auf Sandbänke möglich.
Hafen (für Ausflüge, die im Resort gebucht werden können) und Abendmarkt sind fussläufig zu erreichen.

Die Lage direkt am Meer und an der Walking Street sind toll. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Besitzer des Hotels waren die freundlichsten auf unserer gesamten Reise. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top.

Property and room: Although it is a little outdated and older, the upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness was really great. You could see them taking so much care to keep everything nice and tidy. Room was cleaned every single day and water + toiletries provided. AC was also really nice. Really good pool and views. Quiet surroundings but the main road is easily accessible.

Staff: such lovely caring people, working each day to make sure we're happy, arranging tours, transfers and rentals with a big smile and lots of authenticity.

Breakfast: international stuff was pretty basic but really decent. They had also this breakfast and that changed every day so lots of variety

We had such a great time at the salatan resort.
The owner and her staff are such caring people and are working hard to make it a memorable stay.

The location is amazing.

Lovely quiet bungalows resort with friendly owner and staff! Beautiful view of the beach/sea and nice pool to cool off. I intended on exploring Koh Lanta more but loved it so much I spent most of my 5nt stay on site. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Also had an onsite restaurant for lunch and evening meal. Location was great in terms of closeness to the pier and walking street/night market but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings! Tours are clearly displayed at reception (I recommend the Koh Rok full day, snorkling was amazing!) and also booked onwards transfer to Koh Lipe. Bungalows were basic but sufficient, yes could do with a refresh and could have been cleaner but wasn't an issue. Pool towels were lovely. Also shout out to owners brother who borrowed me a hairdryer which I really appreciated! Please note this is a family resort so expect some children and it is not for those wanting to party. That said such a lovely vibe and friendly atmosphere amongst the holiday makers and staff. I would stay again and recommend to those wanting a quiet stay with Thai charm. Honestly felt at home and didn't want to leave!

L'accueil était très chaleureuse la propriétaire était au petit soin et elle à géré la location du scooter le ferry pour le lendemain. Elle nous a offert le petit déjeuner et m'a offert un petit cadeau. Je la recommande plus plus.

Le calme , l emplacement et la piscine

It was a pleasure to be there. It was a nice location in the north of Koh Lanta, it was a very quiete and peaceful place. If you want to party and have a lots of opportunities for water sport etc the north is not the best place in Koh Lanta, but if you want to have a relaxing time it’s the best spot. You have a nice view at the sea, very friendly, polite and helpful people and nice bungalows. You can go to the night market in the next street or go to some restaurants and pubs in the same street with very friendly people. I would love to come back.

This was absolutely our favourite place of all the places we stayed in Thailand. The location is stunning, with chalets arranged around a beautiful pool that overlooks a white sandy beach. From our chalet we could look out across the pool to the gorgeous backdrop. The staff/owners were so friendly, kind and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay really enjoyable, and to help us with organising outings, laundry and transport. Our chalet was comfortable and air-conditioned, with a big fridge, kettle etc, a large bathroom, and a patio at the front. There's a restaurant onsite which serves delicious meals, and they were happy to adapt menus to my vegetarian diet.
The location is perfect for exploring the island and beyond, within easy walking distance of Saladan town and pier for the ferry and for trips to nearby islands (although it's worth getting a shared truck or tuk-tuk if you arrive by ferry with luggage). But just relaxing with a bottle of Chang beer in the evening and watching the stunning sunset over the sea is also highly recommended! I've only been home for 24 hours and already I'm missing the Salatan Beach Resort - thank you for a wonderful stay.
