Metta Residence & Spa

We loved this property. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom was huge and our verandah went straight out to the pool and cocktail bar but it was still quiet at all times. The staff were beyond amazing. They used our names when they saw us and were extremely attentive. The restaurant food was lovely and the buffet breakfast was great with a variety of delicious food and great service. The spa was lovely as well but a little expensive compared to what you could get in town. they had a shuttle service into town as well for a couple of dollars which was really handy. A laundrette was a few doors away as well. They pool/bar area was beautiful and very relaxing and they had happy hour each day. Would definitely recommend to stay at this property its fantastic.

My wife and I stayed at this great boutique hotel for 5 nights and it was everything it was advertised to be and more. You know how sometimes you read reviews and look at photos and when you arrive you are disappointed, this time is was spot on - looked better in reality than in the photos. But that's just the beginning.

The staff are wonderful and remembered our names and preferences - they always said hello with a genuine smile and did everything to accommodate our wishes and needs. Special thank you to Mr. Lucky and Jenny for taking care of us at breakfast, to June who is always so bubbly and uplifting and to Kha for his care, and to Andy and Jennifer at reception for their professionalism and helpful information relating to Siem Reap. There are other staff members too that I didn't catch the name of - but their attitude was similar.

The hotel itself is lovely with well kept grounds and a nice refreshing pool to relax in after sightseeing. Our room was the residence suite with pool view and it was a large 70 sq. meter well appointed room with all amenities and a wonderful large balcony overlooking the pool. Even though it was a busy Christmas period and families with young children were here, it was quiet and peaceful. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and the showers always let me down - here the rain shower water pressure was really strong and hot. The room wifi and a/c were great too. Breakfast and other meals and room service we had at the hotel were also very good.

Although the hotel is not in the very center of town there is a tuk tuk that belongs to the hotel that can get you where ever you need to go in town for $2 and a 5-7 minute ride and the location, we think, is ideal for visiting Siem Reap and feeling Cambodia.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would come again. PS - this is a genuine review without any incentive. The owner should be very proud of the establishment and staff, we loved our stay here.

This is a lovely hotel with really helpful and kind staff. Phang helped us several times throughout our stay with vegetarian specific restaurants which were delicious. The rooms are spacious and the environment is quiet. The only drawback is that it is far from town so transportation is needed to go anywhere. We like to walk and explore but transportation was very accessible
None the less.
The pool was great but very busy but bit was hot so really nice to have it available after a long day of seeing the amazing sites around Siem Reap.

A great hotel with friendly staff who went out of their way to help . We had a large spacious room with a big bath . The pool area was perfect and the spa was excellent . The food was good and the breakfast buffet was extensive. The cocktails were delicious! The hotel provided a free tuk tuk into town which was very helpful .

We stayed at Metta for 4 nights and had a greats stay. Our room, 555, was very spacious with a sitting area, large comfortable bed and two large tvs. There was also outdoor seating areas. Wifi was quick too.

Our room rate benefitted from inclusive daily massages and laundry ( 3kg max) which was great. Also complimentary cocktails at happy hour at the pool bar.
There is a complimentary tuk tuk service into town in the evenings .

All the staff were helpful and attentive and couldn't do enough for you.

All in all, I'd recommend to anyone

My husband and I have just spent 10 nights in Metta Residence and Spa.
It was an amazing experience and couldn't find fault at all!
I think the staff definitely enhanced our stay. They are all amazing, so friendly and work extremely hard to please their guests.
I'm not comfortable with identifying individual staff members,as they are all equally brilliant!!
The food was first class and available day and night.
A delightful stay and although the hotel is a 30 minute walk into town, there are tuk tuks available and very cheap.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this hotel.

We had a wonderful time and tour! Mr Kim was the best showing us all the temples, we had an incredible driver and the hotels was lovely.

An oasis of a hotel outside of town whilst only being a $2 tuk tuk ride to pub street and its myriad of bars. Don't let the outside fool you, once inside its almost jungle like with birds flying around an idyllic pool and bar. We cannot speak highly enough of June who seems to do everything, she is brilliant by the pool bar as well as at breakfast, the hotel is lucky to have her. Also Andy at reception who is so helpful and efficient and Kaa, who had the nerve to have a day off on our last day 🤣🤣, totally recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed Metta, and the staff members are wonderful - especially the spa ladies and Jennie and Lucky in the restaurant.

We experienced amazing hospitality at this hotel! They are offering top quality of service with affordable price. The staffs are fluent in English and willing to support us at any situations. The facility was very clean and comfortable. You should stay this hotel when you are in Cambodia.

Very nice tour with our English speaking guide Kim and driver Mr Reth. This was organised by the lovely staff at Metta Residences & Spa and really worth it!
Kim took his time to explain everything and was patient with my Mum who needed a bit of extra time. We really enjoyed the tour!

Beautiful place, friendly and warm staff. They are always attentive and do the best to learn your name. The room was huge with an amazing bathtub.

Amazing experience, i wish i had stayed longer. The staff were incredible, remembered everyone’s names and always made sure i had a cocktail with me and just always so helpful and lovely.

We had a fantastic time. The Staff were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! Our room had direct access to the pool through a Cabana and the bar was open as long as there were people. The food at the restaurant was excellent and inexpensive.

Great hotel away from the noise of the city, but hotel offers rides if you want to go into downtown. Spacious rooms and very nice outdoor pool area

We had a great time staying at Metta. The staff are very lovely and the room and facilities are very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend staying here.
