The pool/indoor water park was a home run with the kiddos!! Breakfast was solid and the coffee was good. They refilled all the food in a very timely manner. I really cannot say one bad thing about this place. My parents and sister live up the road, so we will be staying here EVERY time we can. Great job to the staff! Also there are soooooooo many restaurants and shops right there! Just book it now!!
A very nice hotel. Perfect location to all restaurants. Also the outdoor hot tub. Very warm, even in a thunderstorm.
Staff friendly and room was affordable clean
Originally I. Room 306 toilet wouldn’t flush not clogged wouldn’t flush. Moved to room 302
Pool and Jacuzzi and room was spacious.
We got a compliant about noise and it was like 4 something in the evening. When I book I always put who’s coming with me a my kids were with me and very excited that I was graduating so we were celebrating. It wasn’t like it was 10 o’clock. Overall beside that I liked it next time I will request a first floor room.
Breakfast was great. The waffles had different flavors besides plain each morning. It is within walking distance to shopping and lots of places to eat. I didn't visit the hot tub, but it was very popular. The king room was awesome and roomy. I loved being able to connect my apps to the tv so I could watch Netflix and Amazon.
My deadbolt did not work and the swinging door latch was loose. I felt safe in the hotel but would have felt more secure as I was travellng alone. Also, the people in the room above me had kids running around the room. Luckily it didn't happen later in the evening. That was not a hotel issue, just a guest issue.
The water park
Was put on the 3rd floor… when I have children. So I was worried someone would complain about my toddler being a normal toddler and running around.
Family friendly, good breakfast, fun pool
Family friendly property in a location close to multiple stores and restaurants. Scheels is right behind it. I-25 is nearby with quick access to the interstate. Buccee’s, Costco, and Wal-Mart are a short drive away on I-25.
Pool area was not monitored and all hell was breaking loose. There was way too many people in the pool area with no adult supervision for a vast majority of the children in there. This of course is not the hotels fault but when there are safety concerns then certain measures should be maintained. I think most people choose this hotel for the pool and slide areas for their children to play in. There was a large group of kids in the line for the slide and I don’t think anyone wanted to speak up that children should not ride the slide in large groups all at once. Once my child was hurt by five large teen boys pushing him down the slide and then riding it directly behind him other parents admitted they noticed it and the hotel even knew because I spoke with the pool attendant on my way out. The pool attendant was very nice but knew right away kids were riding the slide like a train. I think if there is nobody to monitor this area then the slide should be turned off or maybe even consider maximum capacity should be regulated. Also it says no food or drink and I saw adults drinking beers in there. So my point being don’t stay at this property for the slide go somewhere safe.
Location
I would liked notification at booking or upon check in that the waterside wasnt open and running. I had some disappointed grandchildren. The entire reason we booked there was the waterside.
