Location was/is stunning with amazing sea view. Room was so complementary considering NOT only the size but how everything is put together.

Room was exceptionally Clean. Staff extremely friendly. Location is amazing, Stunning views, Secure Parking. They are also busy upgrading all the bathrooms to keep the place looking amazing.
Because the place was not very full - off season - one did not get the full buffet breakfast experience - very little options and bacon etc was dry and looks like they only put out the bare minimum.
I genuinely struggle to understand how this breakfast offering is considered acceptable for a hotel.
As a returning guest, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. There is a complete absence of care, pride, and attention to detail. Most of the food looked as though it had been prepared purely to fill trays rather than to be enjoyed by paying guests.
The environment itself was equally concerning. Flies around the food area, staff congregating and chatting over guests' meals, and an overall sense of disorder made the experience extremely unpleasant. Professionalism appeared to be completely absent.
The quality of the breakfast was poor across the board. The only item worth eating was the bread and butter, which, ironically, wasn't even made in-house. Everything else was bland, uninspired and felt more like a school cafeteria than a hotel breakfast service.
I see they are very defensive and do not accept any faults inbtheir previous responses. Which shows, no hope at all. The breakfast is disgusting and I'll be sure to video next time.
Compare it to protea hotel breakfast and tell me....same level? Nope, just low grade food. Even for an American, this is disgusting.

Rooms comfortable and clean, most beautiful view from the balcony, staff very friendly but sadly the restaurant very very slow service and very long wait for food even when not busy
Stayed 2 nights as part of a tour. The hotel is slightly out of town and without a car you really have to eat in the hotel as nothing much around it.
Lovely big room with comfortable beds and an amazing sea view - however the lighting in the room is extremely poor.
The restaurant is the part of the hotel which really lets it down - eating there the first night was long and drawn out - taking over an hour to get a pizza once we’d ordered, in a restaurant which was freezing cold. Apart from 1 staff member the others seemed more interested in chatting to each other than in doing any work.
We called into the restaurant/bar for a drink on returning from a day out and when trying to pay we were asked if we were going to the beach bar, when we said no it then took around 15 minutes to find us some change.
At 9.30 the same evening we called at the bar to get a drink to be told it was shut.
At breakfast on the last day it is blatantly obvious that they can’t deal with groups arriving at the same time, part of the restaurant was cordoned off and there were not enough tables for our group to sit - this was not addressed by the staff. Very poor choice for breakfast (not upto the standard of the previous hotels we have stayed in in South Africa)
It is a shame as the hotel has potential & fantastic sea views but is lacking in the basics - due to the location it really needs to do better with the food & drink

The shower door was not closing properly.
