This hotel offers an exceptional experience. The staff consistently provides outstanding service, and the accommodations are meticulously maintained. Their proactive approach to guest assistance is commendable. The hotel's location and dining facilities are also highly impressive. I anticipate returning to this establishment on my next visit to Los Angeles.
Nothing.
My stay was in August 2025 for four nights. Overall, I was impressed with the property. The lobby and rooms are impressive, the location is great, and the house car was always available, which was very handy for exploring BH. The rooftop patio and pool were nice, and the food was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly, though not as friendly as the staff at other five-star hotels. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.
Amazing location super clean tight operations run like a true five star luxury hotel everything you would expect.
Nothing to really complain about it’s an amazing hotel. If I had to be picky, the phone system in the room is a little bit complicated to use and it would be nice if the lights had different dimming features but it really an amazing property.
The Waldorf Astoria is truly an amazing property. Every employee delivers top-level service, making the experience feel seamless and welcoming from start to finish.
The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, offering stunning views of either the city or the mountains. The food is excellent, and the rooftop provides an incredible 360° view of Los Angeles, absolutely breathtaking.
The gym and pool are outstanding and among the best I’ve experienced, adding even more value to an already exceptional stay.
A special thank you to Alaink at the front desk and the entire team for their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. I can’t wait to return.
Highly recommended!
The hotel is not 5 star quality. The rooms are nice, I satued for about 15 days. I stayed in about all the room types including a suite. They’re not magnicficent by any means, and very minimalist, which I don’t lke for the price point. The service is the WORST part. Definitely not 5 star quality. It is basically terrible hilton garden inn service for 5 star prices and the front desk have bad attitudes and don’t care about how you feel. The gym is only open from 6am - 10pm, and the rooftop is closed at night, which is kind of ridiculous, but that would be tolerable if the service was half decent. Also, almost all of the staff smell like weed, they vape it while they’re in the back quarters and smell like it when they deliver your room service or valet your car and your car smells like it afterwards. The front desk are apathetic towards their customers. Stay at the peninsula, beverly hills hotel, beverly wilshire, four seasons, or bel air hotel if you want a REAL 5 star experience. This is an overrated hilton garden inn with a $1000 / night price tag.
I was here briefly for an errand, spent well over $300. The staff was so "snooty" and acted like I was a peon. Terrible customer service. I get that they probably are not treated well as staff, but I don't think they need to take it out on customers who visit there. No smiles anywhere except the valet. Whereas, when I go to the Peninsula or the Four Seasons, I feel welcomed.
My wife and I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills twice this September - one visit for five nights and another week later. We’ve made it our September tradition since 2023, and we love this hotel so we came back each year in September this year and the past years.
A special shout-out to the really wonderful breakfast team at Espelette - especially to our friends Victor, Jaime, Remon - and the rest of the wonderful servers who brought our dishes (I’m sorry we don’t know all names). Every morning they gave us the perfect start to the day, and we always enjoyed our friendly chats with them. They truly embody what hospitality is all about and they are one of the reason why we come back each year.
Many thanks, Victor, Jaime, Remon and your team members! We hope to see you again next September. Your friends Martin and Antje B. from Germany! :-)
(The only thing we noticed that could be improved by the hotel was the lack of shade by the pool. It would be wonderful if there were large enough umbrellas to provide shade for two lounge chairs at any time of day. Larger and adjustable umbrellas could make a big difference and make the pool area even more enjoyable. The staff at the pool was really friendly too.)
Being at the Waldorf Rooftop for the first time was an experience I couldn't have ever imagined. From the moment I arrived (before sunset) at the hostess desk, I was greeted by Sydney (I hope I spelled her name correctly). I asked for an edge table and she made it happen. Next, our server, Jay, was attentive and quick to refresh our beverages. As the weather cooled down, Edgar overheard me asking my date if she was cold. Within minutes, he turned on the portable heater and arrived with a blanket to keep her warm. After dinner, I asked to move to the lounge area. Great seating and our server Williams, was on it! To my surprise, Edgar found us and offered the blanket to be sure my date wasn't cold again. Lastly, I was periodically asked by two additional (I think they were managers), Andrew and Youssef (I think this is the right spelling), if we needed anything at all. Let's just say, I can't wait to go back! Ohh, the view was epic during sunset!
Having previously stayed at the Peninsula, we decided to give the WA a try as part of our family vacation in LA. We were not disappointed! It was a wonderful stay. Highlights were the room itself (beautiful, comfortable, amazing views), the rooftop pool area (with incredible 360 views) and a fabulous birthday celebration dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast downstairs was also really good (both the food and the service). Everyone we met there was the perfect balance of friendly and professional, and we felt very welcomed and happy to be there. The valet parking was well staffed and always super efficient. Definitely on my list of hotels to return to!
Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills
As the name already suggests – Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is nothing short of a wonderful house. Relatively new to the scene, it has an interesting little twist of its own: it partly blocks the view of the world-famous Beverly Hilton next door. Since both properties belong to the same group, one assumes the owners don’t really mind – a small architectural smile in the middle of Beverly Hills.
The location alone is a masterpiece. Perfectly set in the triangle between Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevard, you’re right in the heart of it all. From the very first moment – valet parking – until the last sip of a cocktail on the rooftop, the experience is simply unforgettable. The rooftop views and atmosphere are pure California luxury at its finest, almost a “must” when visiting LA.
Of course, the suites with sweeping views over Beverly Hills come at a price – but honestly, you already know that before you book. The comfort, service, and location make it worth every penny.
A true five-star experience and a personal recommendation from me.
Another wonderful Hilton! Once again treated very nicely. Our room was beyond beautiful!! The bed faced the wall of windows looking onto the mountains. The sliding doors open to a gorgeous patio. We had a corner room which has windows all around the television room. The bathroom again luxurious. I cannot say enough positive about this hotel
They took us to dinner in their beautiful Rolls Royce. If you want to splurge this is the place to do it.
The restaurant downstairs is very good as well.
You can easily walk to all of the stores.
I will be back
Food and beverage
Missed room cleaning and refilling mini fridge
What a beautiful hotel; one of the best I stay in. Special thanks to Mimi and Ryan at the rooftop pool (Ryan is on training but a sure fire asset for this hotel) and Victor at breakfast.
