The place was very clean and lovely staff anything you needed you could just ask nothing was a problem

The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my four night stay. He was interested in my stay without being intrusive, making suggestions about eateries and places to visit. It was much appreciated.

Lovely hotel with a great view of the sea. Staff were amazing and always had tips and helpful ideas. Parking was a bonus. We had an early check out and Peter ensured that our breakfast was ready and that we were able eat before we left.

I was travelling solo so I had a single room which was small, but perfect for me. I had a side-view of the sea and the coast down towards Brixham and Berry Head and a beautiful window seat which allowed me to take it all in. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. Shower and toilet were spotless and the shower was a rainfall shower which I did not expect. It was brilliant. I ate at the restaurant the first night and had breakfast both mornings and the food was delicious.

The location was absolutely stunning right next to the beach and easy walk to a few coves.

Breakfast was nice outside but do prefer to choose in the morning rather than the night before on what we would like to eat. Overall loved the mix of options (pancakes really nice!) and only wish the cooked breakfast was bigger as the food was very tasty.

Very quiet location which was really Ideal. Very clean and good location

if your stuffed on an attic, with no proper sink, very small, unbearably hot with limited ventilation options, that has NOTHING to do with a 5* hotel. We will make a formal complaint, customers are misguided! Its 3* at best.

Quiet, wonderful location! The staff were amazing, Peter was very friendly, helpful and approachable. The room was lovely with a fantastic view, food in the Bistro was incredible.

The whole trip from start to finish was amazing. The hotel was clean, comfortable and relaxed, staff were attentive, friendly and helpful at all times. The food was exceptional, and variety for breakfast was perfect. As a sole traveller, I felt included and looked after. My room was amazing and felt more than 5 star. It sas spacious and not like other single rooms ive stayed in.
Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room were plentiful.

Location, view, room and the owners were all exceptional. You can tell that Peter and Ruth care about their hotel and guests. The breakfast was very good and the food in the Bistro was really delicious and tasty.

Liked all of it,our stay was calm, relaxing just what was needed for a break
