The room & bed were too small - added to that the lack of air conditioning / fan during the period of an intense heatwave, with inadequate ventilation meant it was impossible to sleep / be comfortable in the room
Excellent all round experience. Great Boutique style accommodation with immaculate attention to detail. Restaurant evening dinner was also enjoyable and breakfast choices were plentiful.

Both Ruth and Peter, the owners treated us with an affable professionalism! The breakfasts were brought to our table as quick as you would like, no waiting. You put your preferences in the night before and due to the camera's in the appropriate places they could tell were on our way down! Cooked to order, no cold food! The tapas we had on our first night was just superb. The room was delightful, a sea view, and very comfortable, included what you would expect from a high class establishment. Brilliant, all round!

The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout my four night stay. He was interested in my stay without being intrusive, making suggestions about eateries and places to visit. It was much appreciated.
Lovely hotel with a great view of the sea. Staff were amazing and always had tips and helpful ideas. Parking was a bonus. We had an early check out and Peter ensured that our breakfast was ready and that we were able eat before we left.
For us, the bed was a little uncomfortable but that is probably personal preference.
Die Einrichtung, die Lage.
Es wurde als 5 Sternhotel deklariert, in Realität ist es ein Bed & Breakfast. Kein Lift, der Hausherr nahm den kleinen Koffer, mein gehbehinderter Mann musste den grossen Koffer in den 2.Stock tragen. Weil wir das Frühstücksblatt am Vorabend nicht ausgefüllt haben, bekamen wir am folgenden Morgen nichts zu essen. Was für ein 5 Sternhotel!!!
I was travelling solo so I had a single room which was small, but perfect for me. I had a side-view of the sea and the coast down towards Brixham and Berry Head and a beautiful window seat which allowed me to take it all in. It was exceptionally clean and the bed was comfy. Shower and toilet were spotless and the shower was a rainfall shower which I did not expect. It was brilliant. I ate at the restaurant the first night and had breakfast both mornings and the food was delicious.
My stay was faultless, apart from the weather and I won't blame Peter for that.
