The Series Resort Khaoyai

At first glance at the reception, my first thought was I have made a big mistake choosing this hotel....

Once they started explaining the facilities, I started to think well, this is actually quite nice *and unique)...

There is a salt water pool which is fantastic! However, it's not heated, so it can be really chilly ....

As we walked to our room, I was amazed with the lush greenery. It's like walking in a forest.

The room is bright and spanking clean. Very organised with all the amenities....

The in room TV has limited channels, though ... and the hot water flow is not consistent...

Still, this is a true hidden gem.

Everyone working here has been extremely polite and friendly and always doing their best to make sure they are providing the maximum service.... They are all so young ! And they never stop smiling!

Breakfast is very unique as it is ala carte, and you can continuously order until 10:30am.  They even have sparkling wine !

This place is pretty much isolated & secluded so its best to hire a car and drive there. It's very dufficult to go places without a car as there is almost no taxi or grab available...

Overall this has been a great short stay.  The staff working here really went the extra miles to make our stay as enjoyable and conformable as possible ..

I can’t say enough good things, but one thing stands above all and that’s the staff. They treat you like royalty, if you come here you can’t be disappointed. I came on my wife and my anniversary. We booked 4 rooms for family. Thank you all for making our stay amazing. I will be back soon

Beautiful setting and great service

This is, no doubt, a beautiful resort in KhaoYai. Not the most spectacular, but for the area, it’s really very cool. Note that you need to charter a driver for KhaoYai, and that there is nothing (to buy or eat or anything) in the immediate proximity.

Rooms confer a rustic feel, and is excellently appointed with all necessary amenities including a pool basket with towels (these are additional, cos they are already provided at the poolside). All beverages and snacks are complimentary. Generous amounts of mineral water are provided. Air-conditioning is very strong. There is a nice little balcony with a good fan, and a mosquito coil (but no lighter…). I felt that given the space of this resort, they could have made the rooms even larger, but it’s too late now. There are only two blocks and each block is two-storey with six rooms per level.

Breakfast consists of an Ala carte buffet as well as a buffet section with fruits and salads and bread. Try to stay for afternoon tea, which is complimentary. We went out everyday and came back for our daily teas, and we enjoyed everything. We didn’t eat dinner in the resort’s only restaurant, so can’t comment.

The infinity pool was quiet, and it was cleaned daily. Note there are mosquitoes if you intend to lounge at the pool deck. The jacuzzi was weak and dribbling at times.

The gym was small but quite complete! Not for heavy lifters, but for a city person like me it was very good. Water and towels inside.

Service was attentive throughout.

If I have to find “fault”, then here they are:
- no blackout curtains in rooms
- No spa/sauna
- Wi-Fi kept logging me (us, actually) out

We enjoyed our overall three-night stay here very much. Btw, I received a most delightful and delicious birthday cake (brownies with fresh cream) in my room - thank you very much :-))

From arrival till departure a true Gem in Khao Yai, close to all the sightseeing and still private and secluded. We had an exceptional stay, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We had a handwritten note for welcome and turndown at night, afternoon tea was great with Haagen Dazs Ice cream - was enough as dinner the breakfast was plenty with bubbly and finally the farewell we got a coffee and cookies - we got spoiled all the way, Complimentary mini bar. The rooms are minimalistic with all what you need and since we been during the week the pool was ours alone. We can highly recommend the resort.

The area is very quiet, which is nice but you definitely need a car to get around.

Check-in was fast and bellboy deliver your bags before you arrived.

Thumbs up and wonderful place

Nice hotel with beautiful swimming pool. But room is a bit small and many staff with limited English. Dinner was disastrous, only 1 restaurant in the resort and they asked us to view the menu by scanning the QR code, but actually only 1 starter available plus 6-7 main courses to pick from. The menu also doesn’t change everyday, might as well just print it out to save customers’ time and effort scanning. Had pad thai and steak for dinner. The prawn in the pad Thai doesn’t taste fresh, we asked for medium for the steak but it was raw in the middle. Taste was not good. If u are planning to stay here for few days and not planning to dine outside, good luck. U might ended up starving since the menu for in-room dining is exactly the same. However I have to say the breakfast was pretty good, omelette was done well, with fresh side dishes and homemade yogurt etc to choose from.

If I could provide 6 stars for this resort, I would have done so. First off, the grounds are magnificent, with a mind-blowing view of Khao Yai National Park as it’s picture perfect landscape. Top this off with a scrumptious breakfast and delectable (and substantial) afternoon tea, and service staff that are so genuinely friendly and pleasant, and they rate a solid 5 stars. The 6th star was because the security (?) pointed out that our car tyre (a Europcar rental) was running flat, and then with the help of the reception, proceeded to arrange for the patching of the tyre in double quick time so that our holiday was not affected. A huge shout of thanks to the team in The Series Khao Yai - they are a bunch of gems.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, the Series is an amazing hotel with nice accommodation and impressive dinning services.
Since the covid situation we had every meals in hotel and everything was over expected.

The resort is really nice. It made me feel like staying in Bali. A big pool with an amazing ambience. The room is cozy and all amenities you need has been available for guests. We were very impressed with welcome service, the afternoon tea, a turndown service. As well, a surprised birthday cake is delivered in room. 😀 At the check out, we are also offered the takeaway drinks and snacks. We would definitely come back here. Love everything. Thank you so much.

Just stayed here for one night with a group of friends but wished I could've stayed longer.

First impression is that the property is gorgeous, with the lobby check-in area overlooking the pool and views.

The service is impeccable - every single service staff that we encountered offered warm, friendly and professional service.

There's complimentary afternoon tea service, which is a nice service touch. Dinner at Charn was delicious, and breakfast was delicious as well. Overall a very impressive experience and we will definitely be back.

My cousin referred me to this hotel and we had good impression the moment we stepped into the property. We were offered a welcome drink which is a refreshing local juice and were then given a tour of the hotel. Our room is clean with full toiletries provided along with full mini bar in the room on the house. Their breakfast is a la carte and afternoon tea is impressive as shown in the photo. Upon check out we were also offered coffee on the go.

Overall we were impressed by the staff’s quick and friendly service that made our weekday getaway memorable. My favorite part is their attention to detail and personalization such as cute handwritten notes that were left on our bed! Thank you to the resort’s hospitality and hope to revisit soon!

My wife & I spent the long weekend at The Series Resort. Amazing experience. One of the best service-oriented staff we’ve ever come across. From the ladies in the restaurant & lobby (Fanta, Wachi, Bill & Pui...and others) to the gardener, cook & guard - all were so polite & respectful.

Love at first step there. Warm greeting and very nice welcome drink. Afternoon tea made me forget our lunch and almost made we skip dinner. Room very clean and neat. Be careful when used bathtub. Bacolny chair very creative. Breakfast very good.

Wow. This is how to do Boutique Hotels!
From the moment we arrived until we departed we received the very best in hospitality & service. All staff did their level best to give guests exactly what they wanted.
The rooms are not huge (& no suites, sadly & this is my only critique!) but are very nicely appointed & stylish presented. The setting of this place is amazing with a central (yet quiet) pool surrounded by beautiful grounds. Breakfast & dinner were delicious & choices plentiful. Everything tasted home made & was cooked to order. Complimentary afternoon tea is an added bonus & was excellent too. I just cannot say enough good things about the place. We WILL return.

The design,maintenance and hospitality were all of the highest standard.The breakfast and service were excellent and it was pure joy to stay here. If you want a romantic getaway, there are few better places.
