The room was mostly quiet, large, and pretty accommodating. The bed was weirdly lumpy but generally comfortable. The location was great. I never ate at the restaurant or ate breakfast, but the staff was always very polite.
When I asked the front desk to look into my bathroom basin that had a slow drain, they sent someone up and fixed it right away.
The cleaning was utterly abysmal. I had to keep asking the housekeeping staff to clean my room. It was easy to tell when they hadn't vacuumed — the three specks of lint that I had dropped on the carpet stayed in their spots all three nights I was there. An empty toilet roll tube was left next to my luggage.
The toiletries — body wash, shampoo — are horrible quality.
A regular stopping place for me. Very convenient for Cambridge Station. Lovely comfortable rooms, good breakfast, reasonable restaurant and nice small gym, mainly kitted for cardio. Helpful staff.

Found a tick below the blanket , no apologies from hotel management , secondly found hair in toilet , 3rd found a spider on the wall .

Stayed during the May bank holiday heatwave and immediately impressed by the friendly, helpful and efficient staff. The hotel is in great condition and the rooms are comfortable and completely modernised with air con, which was a blessing! Surprisingly cheap for the high quality and perfect for arriving/leaving by the train station less than 2 mins walk away. This will definitely be my go-to for Cambridge stays in the future.
