Lovely Location for a mini staycation

A wonderful stay away, with comfortable rustic charm, excellent accommodation and great breakfast.
Pros:

We had a lovely night away, the room was fantastic, bed very comfortable, and we loved the décor. The breakfast in the morning was very good and set us up for the day.
We would highly recommend a stay there.

Cons:

The dining area in the evening was a bit chilly, could have done with the open fire burning.

Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel it was quiet and the receptionist was very welcoming. The room was beautiful and with views of the garden. Food was amazing! We dined on the evening and breakfast in the morning which was a nice selection. The staff were quick at getting us coffee and our food ordered. The menu we viewed online was different to what we had in the restaurant though.

Cons:

We did find hair pins clearly from a wedding party on the floor of the bedroom and bathroom. A contact lense stuck to our duvet cover and the lights were very finicky.
When dining for our meal I feel the waitress serving her customer service was a little lacking unfortunately.

A pretty place in the summer but very cold in the winter.
Pros:

It had a charm that made it difficult not to like and the location was very beautiful

Cons:

Sadly our room was definitely the coldest place I’ve ever stayed. Having had surgery a few weeks before it was really uncomfortable being so cold. Kinda spoiled what otherwise was a lovely place
