Luggage Storage is available at a charge of £3 per bag pre check in and after check out. Please note that bags cannot be kept in our hotel overnight and should be collected before midnight.

Early check-in is available from 12pm instead of 3pm and late check out is available at 2pm instead of 11am is at an additional fee of £25. Subject to availability.

For bookings of more than 9 rooms, please contact the hotel directly to discuss availability and arrangements.

Note on housekeeping: Rooms are cleaned on the fourth day of your stay to support sustainability efforts while ensuring guest comfort. If you would like a refresh before the three days, just ask the front desk who will be happy to help!

Construction Notice • Please be aware that construction work is taking place near the hotel. While we strive to minimize any disturbance, some noise may be experienced during daytime hours. Please note, due to renovation breakfast will not be available from the 27th September to the 6th November. The hotel team will be happy to suggest local options for breakfast.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

An okay stay
Pros:

Friendly staff and were very helpful. There was also a pretty good selection for a continental breakfast - you wont leave hungry! The coffee was also very nice but if they could refrigerated the milk alternatives that would be ideal!

The rooms were pretty quiet considering the location which was nice. Beds were comfortable enough and there was some cupboards and hooks/hangers to hand clothes as needed.

It was a good central location with lots to do in the general area.

Cons:

The rooms are VERY small which we knew when we booked it but it was very snug. Also they dont clean the rooms for 3 days which when you're there for a long period (we were there for 4 days) the bins get full and you then need go ask for toilet roll instead of the rooms being checked more regularly. This is advertised on the hotela main website but it wasnt obvious when making the booking.

Also a serious lack of toiletries in the rooms. There was hand soap and a shampoo/body wash only. Also the scent of the products were really off-putting. They contained nettle so it smelt like wet hedgerow (but this is absolutely personal preference). We understand the there is a sustainable reason to these but I'm sure additional sustainable toiletries could be provided in the cost of the room.

Finally we never did raise this at the time (which we should have in hindsight) but the sink in our room was blocked and took ages to drain and also the bathroom door didnt shut properly. We had to use a shoe to keep it closed so we didnt accidentally set of any alarms!
