We arrived very late for check in due to late arrival into Georgia. Made reservation with Hilton on phone. Luckily we were able to get one of the last rooms available. Check in was quick. We were given extra linens for the sofa bed just in case they were not in the bag in the room. She was very pleasant being as late as it was. We asked if we could get a late check out for 12pm as we wanted to sleep in from traveling by car 19 hours and arriving at 2am. We were woke up at 630am by dogs barking on the floor. This went on for a few hours. Yapping dogs! We eventually just checked out at 10am. I told the front desk person about the dogs barking and we were just given sorry about that. We chose this hotel as we stayed here for a few days in July and didn’t mind the extra time it took to get to off 95. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Stay was good minus the DOGS! People should have some courtesy for other guests. They bark once ok but to continue to let them bark not acceptable. Take them outside.

Hotel is conveniently located for seeing the entire island. The airport was not at all noisy. The room was clean, but housekeeping failed to fill the dispensers in the shower. I tracked in the housekeeping the next day, and they promptly refilled the dispensers. Hubby was not happy when he tried to take a shower and there was no gel or shampoo. It’s the little things that matter.
Breakfast was OK. Inventory was low each morning. Eggs were cold and very little protein. We have been staying in Hilton properties the entire road trip and this was our first negative experience. In general, I recommend this hotel but they do need to start paying attention to the details.

convenient location and good size rooms- esp. if traveling with pets

We arrived later in the evening & we were greeted by Danita. She was so pleasant & friendly. We asked for a room that overlooked the airport. She said there was one room available but, so we know it wasn’t the most convenient room to get to. It was the furthest from everything. We didn’t mind. We got all checked in.

The room had a small kitchen area with a sink, fridge, microwave & a dishwasher. Kitchen had plates, glasses and silverware. Bathroom was big enough and water pressure in shower was great. Loved the convenience of having the shampoo, conditioner, body gel and lotion supplied in pumps on the wall for you. We had 2 Queen beds. They are more like a double beds. A sleeper sofa and lots of storage throughout the room.

The cleaning crew at this hotel works very hard. They always had a smile on the mornings and always said hello when we would pass them. And really stepped up when we needed some things. They do a great job cleaning our room was perfect at check in.

The municipal airport is basically right out the door of the hotel. Small planes taxi right up. The noise was not an issue from the engines of the aircraft. And there was hardly any air traffic after 7pm or before 7am. It can be loud at the pool when they start up the engines but it only lasts a couple minutes.

The pool area is nice. Lots of tables and chairs and some loungers. During our stay the pool was not busy at all. They have a towel rack at the door going out to the pool. Entry level pool. I don’t think the pool was heated though. It was a little chilly. And unfortunately after a rain storm some of the mulch around on the landscaped areas made its way into the bottom of the pool. So it made it look dirty. In the morning hour they clean the pool.

The breakfast they offer was decent. Egg patties, bagels, bacon, sausage patties, cereal, oatmeal, make your own waffles, hashbrowns. Muffins, toast. Coffee and juices. The breakfast area was large enough for the busy hotel.

If you have kids they will love this place. It was fun watching the planes. And if you download a flight tracker you can see where they are going and landing from.

the ease of having appliances and everything you need in the room. The breakfast left a little to be desired. Also, staff very nice, but the power went out in a storm, and we had to leave, we both have COPD, and could not breathe if the air stayed off. It came back on, as we were leaving, but they expected worse storms and flooding that night. We came home a day early. They refunded the night so that was very good. We will stay there again

Customer service was top notch, better than I've experienced at any other hotel that I've visited. From the moment I arrived Danita, Tashawna and Mike would send me a text, making shure that everything was going well. Highly recommend.

Very good breakfast too

Ms Danita greeted us upon check in for our holiday stay (July 4th thru 7th). Each morning she was at the front desk/breakfast area with a smile. She provided awesome customer service as well as helpful tips on local activities. The hotel was in a great location, we were surprised that we didn't hear any noises from the airport located right outside. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of tasty options for everyone...coffee was delicious. Our room was spacious and stocked for the three of us plus our small furbaby. Pets are allowed and the walls were good enough (I did not hear any barking) but I did see a lady with her pet in the food area. It was on our departure day and she actually walked thru the buffet line with the dog before sitting in the dining area to eat. Lastly, the beds were comfy but the sleeping pillows were way too thin but we managed. Even the pull out sofa bed was comfortable for my 6'3" teen.

Very quiet, comfortable stay. Staff was more than willing to meet our needs. Would stay again!

Our room was huge. Biggest hotel room we,ve ever had that wasn’t a suite. Staff was the friendliest I have ever encountered. Next to small airport that isn’t very loud and you can watch small planes landing and taking off during the day. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. The pool was good in the evenings with the kids.

It was very nice and clean.
