We’ll be back next year definitely..
Pros:

Perfect location, good price for the two of us,good base for what we needed, nice bar, lovely Full Scottish Breakfast, staff offered to change bedding every day if needed, very comfortable beds, good size car park felt safe parking there.

Cons:

Only gripe would be is the shower head, standard size, personally would be a lot better shower if they had the larger heads to give better water spread👍🏻

Greit hotell i sentrum nært jernbanestasjonen. Vi brukte det som lokasjon for konsert ved Edinburgh Flyplass, så lite tid på hotellet. Kjekt med parkeringsplass

Knirkete gulv og vegg til vegg teppe tilhører 80 og 90-tallet Storbritannia!

Very enjoyable stay
Pros:

Stayed for 3 nights mid week. Great location for sightseeing. Good value for money. Friendly staff, in particular Theresa, who served breakfast, which was exceptional.
Meals very good value and quality. Good menu choice for evening meals.

Cons:

The lighting in the room and bathroom could've been better for me

Pros:

I did not use the WiFi but my child and mother did.

Staff were friendly and could not do enough for you.


I felt the hall way had a smell ( lack of ventilation ) and the room (cleaning product). All very clean.

Windows only open slightly, there was some secure cord preventing opening any wider.

Breakfast was good had a variety of choices.

This is my second stay here in a number of years. Location is good not far from bus station and in walking distance from the train station.

Cons:

Smell in corridor and bathroom.

The seal around the bath had black mould, could benefit from anti mould spray but clean other than that.

Floor was creaky.

Pros:

Didn’t realise this was a Green King but that didn’t put us off. It was clean, lovely big bed and white thick towels (very important) and very friendly staff. We chose this as we were at a wedding on Teasses Estate and it was only an approx 10 min taxi ride. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The town itself seems almost unforgotten - very quiet with not much going on. However, it does have a regular train running to Edinburgh which was very helpful.
