Delightful & Comfortable
Pros:

The hotel and the room exceeded expectations. I selected the "Large Room" based on previous reviews that said that the regular sized rooms were too small. Very glad that I did. The bed was comfortable, the sheets crisp and clean, and everything felt very 'solid' and well made. There are also a lot of mindful touches in the room and the lobby itself that make you feel very welcome and comfortable. The downstairs cafe had one of the best cappuccinos I had in Zurich.

Be mindful that the shower is in the middle of the room: it had glass all around and a curtain between the shower area and the sleeping area for privacy. I had no problems and liked how spacious the shower area was, but if that extra privacy is important to you just keep it in mind.

Cons:

The elevators might need a bit of maintenance: they functioned perfectly, but in the busiest hours you could hear the "squeaking" of the machinery through the walls. Thankfully all was quiet again at night so no problems with getting a good night of sleep!
