Antalya Adonis Hotel

If this hotel was my first visit to Turkey I would not go back. On arrival all looked well, lovely lobby. We checked in then off to our room. I'm disabled and use an electric wheelchair. The lift was far too small. I had to lift my foot shelf & cram myself in to let the door close. This was supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel. The lobby bar closed at 11pm. Which in its self is not that annoying. What was annoying was that it completely closed. Couldn't even buy a drink.
The next morning sitting the lobby , couldn't get a coffee as the bar didn't open till 10am. Even though there was a member of staff behind the bar!! So had to go down stairs to the restaurant for 2 cups of coffee. Then it closed between 7pm & 8.30pm so couldn't a drink before our evening meal. Also drinks served in the lobby bar were all in plastic cups. I also as other reviews have mentioned, most staff were not friendly. This is extremely rare for Turkey.
The one thing that was excellent was the food. We lasted 2 days. Booked into another hotel for the remainder of our holiday. Adonis didn't even ask why we checking out early. It was a hotel we've been to before. The contrast was extraordinary. Friendly welcome. Waiter service throughout the hotel & proper glasses & cups! Avoid this hotel. Many many other excellent hotels in Antalya

Im not going to give my opinion, but some facts that you need to know before booking:

- PAID WIFI: you will have to pay 2euro/day for each device ( the free lobby wifi will not open your email). If you buy the wifi you will get a good speed wifi.
- After 23:00 you will have to pay for your drinks
- Zero entertainment.
-NO kids club or entertainment for kids. Beside the waterslide, there is notting else to do for kids.
- Between 15:00-19:00 NO food.

My opinion:
The bed and pillow were very hard.
The food was not that great and everyday the same.
They keep the hotel very clean. The cleaning lady did a great job in cleaning my room.
The bathroom can use some renovation.

THE VIEW here is breath taking! And the location is GREAT! You can take the bus and go to the waterfal or to the old bazar

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke war mangelhaft. Das Hotel war nicht ruhig genug zum Entspannen. Der Zugang zum Meer war schwierig. Der Zugang zum Stadtzentrum war einfach. Insgesamt war es eine schöne Reise.

The staff has very rude they never smiled. If I ask for anything they refused to answer. The food was disgusted, the beds was so bad. I will never go again here. Neveeeer

The views from this hotel are stunning however the service was not very good. Upon arrival nobody even explained the all inclusive packages to us. On day 3 we were asked if we had been given a briefing of the hotel - we were leaving the next day so it was pointless. The food was mediocre at best I would recommend for location and swimming. Otherwise would not recommend.

Bis auf das essen und die Getränke, war das Hotel wirklich super und das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis für diese Jahreszeit und Umgebung (Lara) wirklich unschlagbar. Wenn sie noch das essen und die Getränke etwas verbessern, dann ist es ein wirklich großartiges Hotel. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen.

I wouldn’t recommend this place,
The only thing I like it about these places, were the staff.

Rooms are extremely dated, as is the the hallways of every floor other than the communal lobby and restaurant areas which look like they have been recently renovated.

The pool area is simple, the pool bar cocktails are ready mixed and have minimal choice - I asked for a mojito one night & was given a vodka and lemonade with 1 mint leaf.

Ice cream is not included in the all inclusive and ice lolly’s are none existent.

The restaurant for breakfast and lunch is fine, with omelettes to order in front of you and lots of salad options, however it is repetitive and for children there is very little choice for food. We opted to eat out 5 out of the 7 nights we stayed.

The lifts are a nightmare, sometimes you’d be waiting 10 minutes for one to arrive at your floor.

The aircon in the room isn’t adjustable temperature it’s either off or freezing cold.

Very little to do outside the hotel within walking distance, we opted for taxis to the old town, terra city and Lara beach most days - taxis are super affordable and located directly opposite the hotel.

No entertainment whatsoever on any of the days or nights we were in the hotel, I wouldn’t definitely not recommend for young families as kids would be bored to tears.

Beautiful views of the sea and mountains from the rear of the hotel.

All in all the hotel was just okay as we opted to be out of it pretty much the whole week. I wouldn’t come back to stay here and for similar prices there are many better hotels in the area. However I would come back to stay in Antalya as lots to see and do.

Location was really good. You can go outside for a walk and little shops. Buses near too but without their language one will be lost . Really good clean beautiful hotel and room. Service and help at reception was excellent. Food was so much to choose from very good.
Tour guide was also very good. Took a day out with tour guide and really enjoyed it .
The only two things that were not perfect. There is no beach but you go directly into the river kind of river swim. They should not put beach hotel. Second no wifi beyond the little area around reception which was also rubbish.
If they give good wifi to all it would be such plus point to them. I had such a hard time to get esim or anything to make changes to booking etc.
Over all good but with wifi could be better. At this day and age of AI and digital it is hard to live without wifi .

Don’t listen to these picky reviews the hotel is brilliant! Great location very close to Antalya old town just a short bus ride away and not far from Lara. The hotel itself boasts stunning views and even has a private beach/jeti you can walk or get a lift down too. (Great for snorkelling sea very clear) also Brilliant for sunsets! Hotel all in all very clean and people saying food is samey have never been to an all inclusive, we thought the food was very good you have to Remeber these people are trying to do new things ever evening! It’s a tall task to keep evryone happy. We loved the salads and the Turkish grill lots of lovely fresh meat and fish, they also had a pizza oven where fresh lachmachuns were prepared. Great holiday! Would defo go again. One little thing all the staff we met were lovely but there is one terrible member of staff on the pool bar called Ali he made us feel very uncomfortable always hounding for tips and if we didn’t give he would call us liars! Some days we feel we couldn’t even order drinks. This is unacceptable he obviously doesn’t realise tips are for exceptional service not just for anyone, which his service was not he was moody all week until he started trying to get money out of us! Please as a hotel do something about this, things like this can ruin your reputation!

The property was in great location and well done. But unfortunately the bathroom were very low standards overall was happy with everything else lovely staff great food.

Decent enough but not worth the premium price. Food was bang average, the lifts are absolutely awful and the hotel really needs to get this sorted. You have to pay for WiFi unless you sit in the lobby where it’s free. Good location and the pool and beach platform are good

The rooms are very outdated but clean.This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and I’ve been all over the world 🌍 The drinking water and ice are not fresh this is there water everyone complaining of bad stomach. I am 57 years old and this is just a 3star hotel at the very most. The food is disgusting 🤮 the all inclusive stops at 2300 which i think is very bad they is no entertainment whatsoever.I informed the lady on the desk about the water but she wasn’t bothered what so ever.AVOID THIS HOTEL ITS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.

This is should not be 5 start. Bottled water is not free. Bar closest 11. Food is awful. No kiddy food no toaster at breakfast. There is water machines but it’s there tap water and so is the ice. Had bad stomach , have to go out eventually to eat. Beds are hard shower over bath no plug. Lots of people with bad stomach’s. Spent a lot of time in bed bad. WiFi only in lounge bar you have to pay per device. Management must be raking it in try looking at raga side hotel Antalya you pay more but worth every single penny.

Their own private decking to the sea and sunbathing made my holiday!!!

We visited Antalya in the beginning of September 2025 for a week and we stayed in the Adonis hotel which is located in Antalya City.
Really I couldn’t fault the hotel. The location is fantastic as it’s in Antalya City. Close to the old town, Dudek waterfall and many bars and cafes. Green Canyon is around 1.5 hrs away so again, not too far away and well worth visiting.
It took around 30-40 min to Antalya airport so no long transfers after travelling most of the day. There are few parks near the hotel for nice strolls too. Antalya City is quite beautiful but beware that it is a bit noisy at night as it’s busy city. It’s mainly cars etc so if you are looking for a quiet place to stay, this may not be it, although once you close the balcony door and have the AC on, you won’t hear much noise
The food buffet is various and I can honestly say probably some of the best tasting food on all inclusive. I’ll be surprised if someone can’t find something to eat.
Rooms have balconies which is a bonus. They were cleaned every day so again, no complaints with regards of the rooms.
The only drawback were the lifts which seem to have a bit of a wrong sequence when calling the lift so can wait few extra minutes but no major drama.
The staff were polite and helpful too.
Really there’s not much to complaint about and we had really nice time away.
I’ll most definitely stay there again and will again, most definitely record the hotel.
