The Cobblestone in Maryville is an exceptional place to be no matter what the occasion! The workers such as Liz, Joel and Cheyenne will do their best to ensure that you have an amazing stay! Sara keeps these hotels in pristine condition and operating to the fullest possible enjoyment for your stay 😁
The breakfast area is very spacious and the breakfast selection was pretty good. The location is fantastic. It's outside of town, but not too far, and it's nice and quiet, located on Mozingo Lake/Golf Course.
Suggestion- more non-dairy or vegan options for those with dietary restrictions.
Staff was so friendly and helpful. Used the lobby for work during golf tournament stay with son. Only complaint is need more hooks in bathroom!
The Cobblestone Inn's location at Mozingo lake is beautiful at any time of year - hot and windy during our stay, with a couple of cooling showers. We always love hanging out in their spacious lobby, eating (great sausage gravy with the included breakfast!), visiting, playing games, and even bringing in some of our own food at lunch or dinner. The room was clean and everything worked well. Staff exceptionally cheerful, nice, and helpful!
Great location, clean rooms, nice breakfast.
Rooms were good, my room had a musty smell but housekeeping used a spray it helped. Disappointed that the "bar" had such limited hours. Felt isolated, other than golf course and lake offered no other things to do. A pool would be nice for people that don't like slimy things touching their feet or foreign objects touching them in the water. I did know where i was booking but at a family reunion that uses the youth camp facilities, that's why I stayed at your inn. Also in regards to the youth camp, you need a sign visible from both east to west???? Was a little pricey for the accommodation.
The breakfast biscuits seemed old, but everything else was great. We played cards in the lobby at night. Rooms were quiet and the stay and play with Mozingo was fantastic!!!
Amazing staff and very clean rooms! ❤️
The hotel was beautifully located on a well-manicured golf course on Lake Mozingo, so it was definitely a wonderful site for golfers. Our room was very clean and well kept for an older establishment. The beds were ok although a bit sunken-in. There were minimal tv channels available, and since the tvs were not updated to smart tvs, we were unable to stream anything else. Overall the hotel was a bit pricey in comparison to the lack of attractions offered in the local area and the continental breakfast was ordinary and mediocre at best. Apparently it is a pet friendly hotel, so people had their dogs on leashes in the lobby where the breakfast was served. We were there over the 4th of July, so were able to watch a most fantastic fireworks show over Lake Mozingo. The restaurants in the area were priced fairly.
Slept great, awesome shower!
The room and atmosphere were great. The breakfast is supposed to last until 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday, it was a Sunday, and when we arrived at 9:05 there was no coffee, 2 of 3 food bins empty, and told breakfast ended at 9:00. We then told staff we were informed by previous front desk person it was 10:00, and pointed to the plastic attached sign on the wall that said until 10:00 Saturday and Sunday. She did agree to make more coffee and breakfast for us, and later apologized, saying she spoke with her manager, and usually doesn't work weekends. It was about a 30 minute wait for food. It was very awkward and uncomfortable to inform staff of their own breakfast end time.
Great hospitality with a comfortable room.
Facility was neat, and rooms were very clean.Very overpriced, if not for the location, next to golf course, would not stay.$$$$
This property is a true hidden gem! Waking up in the morning and looking out the window was breathtaking! The golf course and lake are a beautiful sight. The room was spacious and the entire place was very clean. Breakfast had a nice variety. The housekeeping staff were attentive and very friendly. The housekeeping manager Amy has a great team working with her. They seem to really enjoy what they are doing which made it nice to pass through the halls in the morning. Though I was traveling alone for work, the atmosphere felt like home. I look forward to staying there again in the future!
Enjoyed staying at Cobblestone. We really liked the ability to walk to restaurant and have dinner and just had a short walk back to the room. And the view out our window of the course was beautiful. Also, the staff (from front desk to cleaning crew) were friendly and took good care of us. Thanks for a great stay!
We were attending a wedding on the property, so the convenience with that was great.
No air condition in the hallways, no elevator to get to the 2nd floor. So if you know you don’t have an elevator, finding out if the guests need to be on the first floor due to not being able to do stairs or something. Think about elderly people & make their stay a little less inconvenient. High beds with no step stools also makes it very difficult for elders who are shorter & can’t get in the bed. Need a better breakfast served. For the amount charged for these rooms, at the end of the stay there should be no complaints & there are multiple things I could complain about. Not a happy customer this go around, on a weekend where being comfortable & being able to desires was necessary. I did not get the relaxing feel this time at all. Multiple inconveniences for my family.
Good location
We were passing through and stayed at the Cobblestone Hotel.
Pros: The views are fantastic. You are on the golf course and there is a state park and lake in the area. The hotel had a good breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and you could tell that this property was well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. There was a wedding party at the conference center but you could not hear anything. The location would be beautiful for a wedding. The bed was very comfortable. Dogs are allowed and welcomed. They even had treats. As a dog owner who loves to travel with mine, this is very much appreciated.
Cons: Not many which is why we would stay again. The bed is not made for short people. I thought I would need to get a running jump to get up there! But it was comfortable. It is definitely an older hotel that could use renovating. But again it was clean. There isn elevator. While this is not a problem for us, it could be for handicap and the elderly. There is no pool and at that price, I would have excepted one. Perhaps it is because the lake is so close.
Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good
