Lovely pool area and exceptional staff.
The Apsara Dance Dinner felt a little rushed and the main course was cool and dry. Also a large table of people in the restaurant talked loudly throughout the dancing and paid very little attention to it which was annoying. The dancing itself was very good.
The hotel booked the wrong day for our visit to Angkor Wat which resulted in our tickets being invalid. Luckily our excellent guide managed to eventually sort it but we had several delays passing through security and had to visit 2 different ticket offices before it was resolved leading to more frustrating delays. We obviously complained to the hotel who did provide a small amount of compensation but it tarnished our special day at Angkor Wat.
Everything was perfect! Starting with a warm welcome and super friendly staff, the room was spacious, the pool area is stunning, beds are comfortable and food was excellent! The place is located in a quiet area which we liked and about 10-15mins walk from the busy area if you’re into it.
There is no better hotel than GTR. We have lived and traveled to many countries, staying in tons of hotels. There’s always something we’d think of that the hotels could do better either every stay; this is untrue of GTR. The staff, food, massages, hospitality, kindness, cleanliness, beautiful gardens, glistening pool, natural setting within a busy city yet exceptionally quiet and centrally located is what you will enjoy at this hotel. They arranged everything for us- rides from/to airport, temples, massages, meals, etc. and all we had to do is relax and enjoy. The hotel and its rooms were spotless- every day our room exceptionally cleaned- flower petals on our bed upon arrival and attention to detail from every manager and staff member. The food and its service team was also exceptional. There was a separate vegetarian menu offered at breakfast and everything we ordered was tasty, fun, and delicious. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel- you’ll not be sorry that you booked your room here.

There's nothing not to dislike
We loved this hotel. The room was beautiful and the staff were wonderful. The food was fresh and delicious. The magnificent pool area was extremely relaxing. We went on a 3-day magical tour which we loved. Our driver was Soun and our guide was Sinet. We always felt safe in the new car and Sinet was a fantastic guide. Ask for them if you decide to go on a tour and you won’t be disappointed. We also went to the cultural night performed by local dancers and had an excellent dinner. It was very enjoyable. All round we had a wonderful stay and have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and activities.

Well positioned, quiet location.
Lovely staff, so welcoming and friendly could not do enough for us and certainly helped us retrieve our luggage which was still in Bangkok when we arrived in Siem Reap.

A 3 night stay for our very 1st trip to Siem Reap and Cambodia.
The hotel is very well maintained (looks new or renovated recently).
Staff are all extremely nice.
Lisa was our main contact at reception. A big thank you to her for her kindness and help.
Would definitely recommend this hotel which is perfect for a short or even medium term stay in Siem Reap.
