A lovely weekend break in the lap of luxury, we will definitely return
Pros:

Magnificent. A truly beautiful setting and a real sense of luxury and comfort pervades Kilworth House Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at all times, the peace and serenity of the hotel will stay with us.

Cons:

There was a problem with the boiler the night we arrived, so the water was not hot enough. Kilworth House staff kindly offered to move us into another room, which we did. This made for a lovely weekend, the tepid water soon forgotten, we enjoyed our stay very much indeed.

Everything catered for, lovely relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings
Pros:

Stunning location, probably the finest staff i have encountered from groundsmen, house keeping to reception every member of staff was friendly discreet and professional. Quality breakfast.

Cons:

Corridors where a little dim but it was a dull day so looking forward to our next visit being a sunny day

a good start: for this price point staff must do better.
Pros:

I was very disappointed as i struggled to open the front door with bags and briefcases staff stood chatting at the front desk and did not come to help. indeed, two of them watched me struggle then walked away.

No offer to help then or even after check in, no offer to help with bags to the room. Poor directions to the room.

Dinner was slightly disorganised; i was never told the soup or fish of the day. Had to ask. Food was fine but under seasoned. Expected better quality and bread: i had just returned from France and it was jarring that bread was not offered.

Room lovely.

Breakfast -hello???? No one was around. Seated myself. very slow service and i was headed to a meeting so my timetable was tight. unhelpful i had to ask several times for toast and water (oddly no water on the buffet, just juice). I noticed several other guests asking for missing items and unsure where to sit i.e. no staffing

Overall a lovely hotel trying hard but staffing let it down. Not worth the 185£ night i paid even on an expense account.

And they forgot my wake up call: thank goodness i set my own alarm!

Cons:

all above

A great three night break in a very comfortable hotel.
Pros:

The selection at breakfast time was very good and the evening meals were delicious. I couldn't fault any of the meals. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was extremely comfortable with good facilities. Parking at the hotel was easy. We were overlooking the most beautiful grounds. If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this is the hotel for you.

Cons:

Nothing.
