Breakfast was enjoyable. Fruit, yogurt and baked items available. Pasteis de Nata a nice touch. Staff extremely polite at the hotel. Artworks dotted around building given consideration.
Had some trouble finding the hotel upon arrival in Lisbon. This was due to Alfama's complex street layout. Not something that could be helped.
breakfast, staff
location, hard to access to the hotel. No good restaurants. Like living in a third world country.
It was hard for us to find.. kind of hidden… recommend
To mentioned how to find it more specific if you are walking
This was our second stay here before joining our cruise ship. It is in the Alfama district and in walking distance of the port (although quite a challenge with heavy suitcases down the stony hill). We arrived by taxi but were dropped off at the top of the hill as they cannot normally park outside the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable, overlooking the courtyard, and breakfast was very good.
Bright and modern interior, comfortable and clean, very friendly staff. Good facilities in room. Central location, close to most attractions. If you head down the hill from the hotel you stumble upon this little bakery that was full of locals, its off the main tourist spots and is absolutely amazing!
The road down to the hotel puts you off, its a narrow, dirty and almost derelict alley but dont let thst out you off, the hotel is lovely!
L'accueil
Clean room, great location, very friendly staff and nice breakfast :)

Very well situated for exploring Lisbon, all of which we did on foot from the hotel. Comfortable rooms, lovely view from window. Nice to be able to sleep with the window open at night.
