Furniture was tattered. Stains on carpet. Place could use a facelift.

Sofa beds were the usual terribly uncomfortable, and extremely short of bedding. One pillow with no case and one fitted sheet. Had to ask for extra, and all we got were thin bedspreads that kind they use for decoration, and we got another fitted sheet and a pillowcase.

Also I brought my own large coffee pot because I was preparing for a church event. I mistakenly left it on the counter in my room at checkout, and when I asked about it later and my daughter went back and looked, no one had ever seen it. I cannot believe staff would just take things left in the room!

Our room was clean and cozy! We like to try local restaurants and The Black Cat was right in the backyard of the hotel! Check in and out was super simply, breakfast was warm with lots of variety, coffee was always full and hot! We were very pleased with our stay!

The hotel is real nice and comfortable. My big gripe is that when i called to book i asked specifically about hot tub. They claimed they had one. Yep they had one, but it was not in operation. That is the only real reason we booked here. It was too late to go anywhere else everthing was booked. Girl at front said it has been down for some time. Yeah I was pissed. I did really like the hotel. Didnt like being deceived.

No one at desk. Paint peeling.Needed room cleaned, not told had to ask for that.

Room was clean but someone’s take out meal/ leftovers was still in the refrigerator

Very pleasant experience. well maintained hotel, good location. modern facility and furnishings. Really nothing bad to say about this hotel.

We had rust in our bath tub in our first room. Then second room had paint coming off the wall and ceiling. Stand that the fridge was on the wood was chipped all on the bottom.
Breakfast was good though!

Everything was fine except no bar soap for bathroom sink

Everything was great except the breakfast. I came down at about 7:30 a.m. and most of the hot breakfast was gone with no sign of being replenished. I finally asked a nearby staff person and he said he was making more bacon and it was out shortly, but the bacon was so paper thin you could see through it. overall very disappointed in the breakfast.

Stay was great. Breakfast had hot and cold options. However hot tub is not functioning and it seems according to others travelers its been down for a while. Although that isn't a deal breaker for me, the hotel should be a little more transparent about this. The pool was open and pleasant. Overall very happy with my stay.

Nice place

The only complaint we have was that the water in the shower would not get hot. It’s was room temperature. Otherwise, we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Price was 150 online but once I went in it was over 200. Bed was rock solid and pillows were odd to say the least. Should’ve went next door to the quality inn or slept in the truck. Room was clean and staff was friendly but other than that not a fan.

We love to stay at the Grandstay in Thief River Falls, MN. The service and condition of the hotel is very consistent. Staff are always kind, friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean and smell fresh. It is our only choice in Thief River Falls.

The shower set up is terrible. It is in the middle of the wall instead of either end. Water got all over the floor and the hand nozzle arm was broke and wouldn’t stay up high.
I dropped something and when looking for it I found garbage behind the dresser.
