Pros:

I thought the Balcary was a lo ely traditional hotel. The staff were lovely amd very welcoming. I had a fabulous big room looking over the gardens, vety good facilities in the room.

Cons:

I have no complaints.

Great location for getting around the town
Pros:

Location was very good, short walk to the centre, bar prices very reasonable.

Cons:

We were greeted by both owners, lady was polite and helpful, gentleman seemed very surly and never acknowledged us.
Bed was very uncomfortable, dipping at both sides, no support, new mattress needed.

OK stay
Pros:

Beautiful building and gardens. Peaceful nights sleep, comfy bed

Cons:

There was a bath in the room but no plug that allowed the water to stay in, so why have a bath in the room??? Disappointing. The breakfast order was wrong, so food was wasted. Staff were nonchalant but pleasant.
For such a beautiful building, the room was "too modern". Had to ask for milk for the hospitality tray.

Pros:

Die ruhige Lage. Das Frühstück war gut.

Cons:

In die Jahre gekommen. Riecht alt. Bett unbequem. Wackelt bei jeder Bewegung hin und her. Ausserdem war das Zustellbett für das Kind war Nahe am Boden. Eine Feder war kaputt.

Lovely house grounds amazing.
Loved our room and small balcony.
Sitting out in the peaceful garden.

Cons:

Pity no evening meal served we would have preferred to stay at the hotel for the one night we were there.
Im afraid we are not dog lovers so thr three dogs was a bit over the top for us but otherwise loved the house.

Wunderschönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage, perfekte Unterkunft mit Hund – absolut empfehlenswert!
Pros:

Ein wunderschönes Hotel in herrlich ruhiger Lage. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt mit unserem Hund. Statt im Haupthaus waren wir in einer der hinter dem Gebäude gelegenen Lodges untergebracht – für uns als Hundebesitzer war das besonders praktisch.

Die Unterkunft war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Auch das Haupthaus hat uns mit seiner liebevollen Einrichtung begeistert. Dort haben wir jeden Morgen ein köstliches Frühstück in einer sehr angenehmen Atmosphäre genossen.

Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Am Abend konnten wir den Tag entspannt im Garten ausklingen lassen und dabei einen leckeren Drink von der Bar genießen.

Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal, da der Wilton Lodge Park ganz in der Nähe liegt und sich hervorragend für Spaziergänge eignet.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können das Balcary House Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Negatives gibt es aus unserer Sicht überhaupt nichts zu sagen.

Ein beeindruckendes Ambiente.
Pros:

Es handelt sich um ein schönes atmosphärisches und großzügiges Landhaus mit klassisch eingerichteten Zimmern. Alles war frisch renoviert und sauber. Das Personal war nett und aufmerksam.
