Bed was comfortable.
I didn't like the digital check in and there wasn't enough parking for all the rooms.
Location
Receptacle for recycling-important to us😊
The location was good. The room was very clean.
The parking was not that accessible. Kind of a first come first serve! The room was uncomfortably warm and we had to actually shut the heat off and open the door and window to cool it down to a comfortable sleep temperature. We slept with the heat off and it was 2 degrees outside and the room only got down to 64 all night! Also the room was very small! There were no workers to be found and the lobby had only a microwave and ice machine! It was ok for one night and I’m glad I had credits from booking.com because it definitely was not worth the money!
L emplacement, la tranquillité,
Peu de place pour prendre un repas, chaises et fauteuil peu confortables
It was clean, comfortable and a cute room. I spoke to a gentleman before I arrived, on the phone when I had a question and he was very helpful and nice.
A bummer there was no staff in the office when I had a question about the volume of my TV in room 15 would not go up. I don’t like it when there is no staff. For over $100 a night there should be somebody in the office.
We have stayed here before, usually in a larger room. Our room this time was smaller but perfectly clean and comfortable. We like the simple Scandinavian aesthetic.
NA
Parking lot could have been cleared better of the snow.
Location
Lack of parking, bathroom was falling apart, only one key provided
Location, cleanliness
Everything was fine!
Centrally located and they accepted pets. The bath towels were lovely, new and thick. The mattress was comfortable ( although for a pet friendly room there was no mattress protector). The room stayed warm, even on 2 -14f nights. For some reason, I had an old school physical key and when I locked myself out, the staff was very helpful to get me back in. Loved how they had a brand new weather rug at the inside door and a plastic tray for shoes in the inclement weather. Being a regular in Lake Placid, I would stay here again!
Not sure if all rooms are the same as I had a Dog Friendly room (#15) , but I found everything to be worn. Whether it be high traffic use or wear and tear or needs fresh paint. My room wasn’t particularly “fresh faced” but was comfortable enough and really appreciated I could have my pups with me! The interior walls need a little washing down throughout as there is just schmutz here and there. Also, they do make a bit of a deal about accepting pets ( pay a fee, remind them you need a pet friendly room prior to arrival even though you’ve already paid the fee and made the request w the booking. ) There was nothing in the room to acknowledge your pet as some places have a tray to place food bowls, a welcome water bowl with the hotels name on it, sometimes doggie bags etc and with quite a bit of snow on the ground, no identifiable location to take them that was cleared. It was definitely fine for what I paid ( the rate was much cheaper than the weeks before and after it). If I had paid more, this would have been a very different review. There was nothing about my stay that would hinder me from booking again, but I definitely would not book again if the rate was north of $200.00 a night.
Clean room, plentiful towels, easy contactless check-in. The room had a nice feel to it. Cabin-y and cozy. Bathroom had a deep tub, not that I used it. Overall property had a 'cool' look to it.
Didn't watch much TV but it was nearly impossible to navigate the awful Samsung TV interface. More importantly the parking lot is tiny. We arrived late the first night and second night and parked near the entrance, making it a little worrying that a passing car might clip our bumper.
There was no breakfast provided
The checking process. The quarter inch water you stand in when you are showering
We loved this spot! It was gorgeous, clean, tidy, good facilities. I truly cannot rave enough!
