Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with many local and other choices. The rooftop bar was good.

Cons:

There were a couple of issues with the cleanliness and wobbly toilet seat. These were fixed promptly once we informed the staff.

Given this is a five star hotel it's important for the management to ensure that they pay attention to these details, especially cleanliness and the toilet.

This is not a complaint but to help improve the quality.

Pros:

Vi havde et stort værelse med udsigt over Colombo. Vi blev opgraderet til et større værelse, da vi ønskede at checke ind tidligere, mod et mindre gebyr.

Cons:

Lidt slidte værelser. Ikke helt et 5-stjernet hotel.

Fabulous!
Pros:

Overall a great experience. Our room was a little ‘tired’ and could have been cleaner but everything else was spot on! The view was amazing, we got the junior suite and highly recommend it - very spacious and you get the sea and also the city view - fab! Real great value for money. The pool and the roof top bar - just wow. Breakfast - fabulous!! Staff - amazing, a special shout out to Tashani at the front desk who talked us into going for the upgrade on the room - we didn’t need much persuasion :)), to be honest, but thanks to her we had an unforgettable experience!

Cons:

Room was a little ‘tired’, could have been cleaner. But everything else was absolutely spot on and even exceeded our expectations!

Hospitality is great but the person is next to yo making it Worst !
Pros:

the hotel is beautifully designed, with an amazing rooftop pool and excellent facilities. The chef was incredibly kind, personally checking on each guest’s satisfaction, which made the experience feel very special.

Cons:

"Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The check-in and check-out process felt forced, with staff showing no manners or hospitality.(asking for making key take 2hrs for the agent and at the end i go down to collect the key! Room service was the worst part I asked three time to the waiter for the ice bucket, —two glasses of wine were charged at 20,000 LKR (of course I have to call back and ask to check the impossible to make possible), and the staff’s product knowledge was extremely poor. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory and did not meet expectations.

Loved every bit of it
Pros:

We had a really lovely stay at NH Collection — it was absolutely worth the money. Everything from the rooms to the overall atmosphere felt well thought out and comfortable.

One of the highlights for us was spending time at the rooftop — such a great vibe, especially in the evening. The live band was amazing and really elevated the whole experience. It made our stay feel extra special.

Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our time and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Great for a short stay
Pros:

The views and pool on the roof were great, the staff throughout the hotel really make the stay. I ended up upgrading my room and it was spacious and very comfortable!

Cons:

The price was expensive for what you get in return. I went to the Indian restaurant for dinner and the food was average.

Front Desk Poor responses, Billing was not very clear when they change the staff ,Very poor House keeping Room Good Toilet table not clean enough, body lotion was empty for 3 days toilet paper not enough , Entrance and bell service very helpful very good staffs Restaurant and Breakfast very good and service need to more Trained staff for Reception Desk,and House keeping, Thank you.

Fabulous stay, great value for money.
Pros:

Rooftop bar, pool and jacuzzi were fabulous. Staff super attentive, we are in the Thai restaurant and the Chef was very friendly, loved being able to watch the Chef at work.

Sehr schönes Hotel
Pros:

Super Frühstück, das Beste überhaupt!

Cons:

Wir wollten in der Gegend Essen gehen, das hat sich allerindgs als schwierig herausgestellt. Auch eine schöne Bar findet man dort nicht. Im Hotel gab es eine sehr schöne Bar, aber die Preise für die Getränke dafür sehr hoch. Da wir hier den letzten Tag unserer Reise verbracht haben, waren wir bessere Restaurants und Preise gewohnt.
