We literally left and refused to stay there .

Cons:

We did not stay. It was not clean, there were hygiene concerns and safety concerns, and extreme false advertising. I am in the process of writing a full complaint.

Wonderful staff. Excellent restaurant food which has gained a wide reputation!
Pros:

Good variety of food at the continental breakfast.

Cons:

Noisy water pipes were a little annoying; had to wear earplugs to sleep. New management is trying to rectify this.

Pros:

What a little treasure of an Inn! It was reminiscent of small European lodges- so many cute authentic touches in the decor. Absolutely loved the dinner experience- do not miss! Food was delicious, portions were huge. We had enough left overs for lunch the next day. The owners were very responsive and gracious. The whole experience was very welcoming and cozy. Completely enjoyed.

Cons:

It is situated right next to the (only) main road, so after 8am the street noise is apparent. Furniture in the room was a little dated, but completely functional.

Dodge Peak met our needs in the panhandle of Northern Idaho.
Pros:

We needed a hotel close to the Canadian border. Dodge Peak satisfies the need. Nice to have a restaurant in the hotel for dinner that night. However, less flies would have made the experience more pleasant.

Cons:

Breakfast was grab and go and very minimal.

Avoid at all costs! Worst from Booking.com in 20 years!
Pros:

bagels wrapped in cellophane is not breakfast. Certainly not what the extra cost of a room with breakfast included would be.

Cons:

2nd floor room (attic) with a small inefficient AC. Hot and stuffy. Not a Deluxe double by a long shot! This is a quirky little motel where the quality of everything offered is as cheap as possible and priced as expensively as possible.

Pros:

It was quiet and in good location

Cons:

The lock on our door broke. After breaking the door in and getting our luggage out we were moved to another room. There was no ice machine and the breakfast was just grab and go.

Our anniversary trip to Bonners Ferry and our lodging couldn't have been better
Pros:

The owners treated us with kindness; set a reservation for dinner that evening at 6. The eastern style dinner was excellent and the apple strudel(apples from their garden) was outstanding. Highly recommend it to others.

As I stood in front of the sink, I dropped something. When I raised up from picking it up, I bumped my head on the corner of a plywood shelf bring used for the microwave. I received quite a large forhead gash and bump. It took 2 weeks to heal.

Anniversary weekend
Pros:

Our anniversary weekend get away we were so excited to stay somewhere else and a quieter town. We were greeted nicely and checking in was easy we had booked online with another Business. We would have to say that the room needs work, some painting and the bathroom fan was just filled with dust and dirty. The room was small no where to set your toiletries. The bed was so hard we could not sleep very good. We went to look around the town and when we came back we had nowhere to park. We went to the office they said there was no assigned parking even if you were staying there , due to they had a restaurant on site we could park in the gravel parking lot out back if we wanted. We went to our room and couldn't get the TV to work, I went back to the office and the Gal said well I can't help you because we are busy at the restaurant, no one else was available to help. We worked on the TV and finally reset the modem and got the thing to work. We were relaxing and watching a show almost asleep when someone came banging on the door hours later the gal wanted to know if we got the TV working. When we're running the coffee pot and the microwave the electricity went off we had to find a reset button behind the microwave to reset . It was not what we excepted for our anniversary weekend.
