I think this is the only houseboat in the lake with all side window room, i.e. from inside your room you can see the full lake and mountains , you even don't need to come out of the room.
And also there is private deck.
staff is really good. they served home made food which was good.
I had a very pleasant stay at New Jacqueline Heritage Houseboats. The property was beautifully kept and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. They arranged a shikara ride on the lake, which was a highlight. Would highly recommend staying here!
Very helpful staff
Very well maintained and clean in a great, calm location. Staff provided excellent service - we had to leave early at 630am and they helped with breakfast and milk for our toddler. Would definitely recommend!

Set in the tranquil Nigeen Lake, New Jacqueline Heritage Houseboat (NJHH) is a true gem in Srinagar. This property is very clean, well maintained, and beautifully adorned with traditional Kashmiri interiors. We were treated to great hospitality by the owner, Mr. Maqsood his son Sami and their entire team. Special mention to Muneer for taking good care of us and our needs during our stay. We are vegetarians, and the food served was to our liking. The views from the deck area are beautiful. I would recommend visitors to spend atleast 2 nights to soak in the experience. We will definitely visit this property again.
P.S, If you get an opportunity to visit the houseboat owner Mr. Maqsood's residence, pls do visit to look at his collection of Kashmiri pashmina shawls, carpets, clothes, etc. which can be purchased a trip souvenir.

bed not practical with a designer roof over the bed. I banged my head thrice in the night on that. not much place to keep luggage. no heater in the room. felt very cold. toilet not practical. No information provided by property as to how to reach. we reached on the wrong side , as we followed the GPS. not value for money. over priced. Even after confirmation by booking.com , I was forced to pay 25% as advance for confirmation by the property. will not recommend for luxury travellers.
The rooms were luxurious with apt fittings. Esp the bathroom. The bed was as comfortable as it can get.
Nigeen lake was very serene and the view from it was very magestic. Would recommend this to other people
The staff were very courteous and genuine. They took good care of us.
The location is secluded and you will get the peace you need. far off from hustle bustle of the main city.
