Excellent and can’t wait to return
Pros:

The location in old Glossop is just beautiful , the staff couldn’t do enough for you . The food was amazing . Our room was lovely and the street / church view from the room was magical .

Clean and comfortable pit stop while hiking the Pennine Way.
Pros:

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Excellent value for money.

Cons:

The twin room was above some kind of fan/generator but it didn’t disturb our daughters’ sleep.

Overall pleasant. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. WiFi and mobile signal useable and tea/coffe/biscuit

How clean and quaint it was.

Cons:

Pillows were hard and unfortunate for me I had quiz night and I could hear them over the microphone up to 23:15hrs.


TV was in the most awkward of places making viewing for one person laying on the bed (no chairs to sit on as the room was just enough for the bed) not great

Also, meals and breakfast were in another pub 100 metres down the hill.

Pros:

Quaint pub with loads of character! Very welcoming staff.

Cons:

Breakfast in the pub down the road was somewhat haphazard in approach after a busy night with the football the night before perhaps!

Lovely boutique hotel - would stay again.
Pros:

Beautiful Derbyshire pub located in an old part of Glossop opposite a church. Idylic. 15 min walk or 2 min taxi from the train station with views of the surrounding hills. Pure England!

Cons:

10am checkout time is just wrong.

Prima en fijn.
Pros:

Mooie locatie. Fijne plek.

Cons:

Helaas pech, die avond was het restaurant gesloten en alle drie de andere eetgelegenheden ook in Old Glossop. Omdat we met de fiets waren dus ook niet zo makkelijk verder weg kunnen gaan eten.

Lovely stay. I would recommend Bulls Head.

The property had free parking nearby so it was easy to come and go. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet.

Welcoming, comfortable, clean, great location for splitting Pennine Way Stage 1 in half.
Pros:

We were in Glossop to walk, and staff were able to offer helpful bits of information.
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with everything we needed.
Breakfast was prompt and tasty. Landlady was really welcoming.
Free public carpark just across the road, which was a bonus, we had been worried about being able to park.
