The Apple Palace

We went to this hotel during the low season, with pandemic restrictions partially in place, so my review may not apply to normal times. However, I can safely say that what I write about our room still holds: although it was nice and warm thanks to the well-functioning heater, this is the only good thing that I can write about it. I have a real repulsion for carpeting in hotels, and unfortunately, there was carpeting in our room. There was also carpeting in the corridors, which gave off a oh-so-1970s frumpled air. This, combined with the semi-empty, very cold restaurant really turned me off. The breakfast seems to have been produced on the fly, with Nescafe coffee instead of real drip. Although many Turkish hotels offer Nescafe instead of the real deal, it is always a disappointment when that is the case.
That being said, the view is breathtaking. I saw so photos of rooms with hardwood floors that may have been renovated, so if you can secure one of these, it may be worth the inquiry. Also, we couldn't get the wifi to work, so for some, it may be a problem.
Now for the highlight of our stay: the hammam. It is an absolute must. The women who work there are just amazing. We booked an appointment later in the evening and just about fell asleep as we were covered in soap bubbles and doused with warm water. Their wonderful treatment made me forgive the existence of old carpet and the cold restaurant. This is what will stick in my memories forever.

Nice view at night. Buffet spread in the morning was average but still nice. Fresh bread, soup and BBQ chicken for dinner. Thumbs up for the staffs for friendliness.

Hotel increased prices from 400 TL to 750 TL in 5 min after I made my reservation. They are greedy and wanted to benefit from the peak season. I am in a bad situation because of them. Not recommended to any tourist.

The Apple Palace lies far off the city centre of Amasya on top of a hill opposite Amasya Fortress. It is difficult to get there, but the view of the city and the surrounding landscape is spectacular. You can enjoy it from the swimming-pool area (meadow).
The meals were average. The breakfast was underaverage.
When I was there there was a lot of noise in the dining-hall because of a huge group of pupils and another one of tourists. The waiters were young people without professional experience. They took away everything on the table very rapidly. One morning a young waiter carried away my plate and food which I had only just fetched from the buffet. Impossible and impolite!
The service at the reception was not good either. They let me wait for a very long time and were not able to understand English.
My room was without a view on the other side of the building. Disappointing. The bathroom was not practical at all. The shower was in a corner so that it was difficult to use it. The minibar was empty. I had to unpack and pack my suitcase on the floor. The light was extremely dimmed down so that you could not see well at night. Reading in bed was impossible.
All in all, it is obvious that this hotel takes extreme austerity measures.

This hotel situated up in the hill of Amasya city. The view was amazing from the restaurant balcony. But the room itself was bit dissapointing. It seemed that it was recently renovated but in a poor way.
But the food quite delicious, even the bread that was served in plastic package taste quite good. The breakfast buffet was really basic but we have what we need. We really love their apple tea they served as the welcome drink. Couldn't find it anywhere with the same taste.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel which is located at the Hill top. The room is clean and well kept.

It was a cold day during Winter time and not many tourists here except for our tour group.

We enjoyed taking many breathtaking photos around the hotel.

Stayed one night. Beautiful view as this hotel is located at on top of the hill. Less than 10 minutes to go to town by taxi with taxi fare about 15 lira.

Room is clean and comfortable with basic amenities. But no kettle. You need to ask for iron and iron board.

Breakfast not that great. Room Wifi was very slow.

The hotel is located on top of a hill and one could enjoy wonderful view of the town.

Room, bathroom is clean and comes with all amenities.

The breakfast buffet was good with many varieties to choose from.

Have your breakfast at the terrace for a wonderful view of the town.

We could hear music from our room which somewhat spoil the relaxing mood.

Overall we have a good stay in Apple Palace.

The views and the hotel is good, Just which was strange to us while you would like to have the breakfast at the terrace staff said it is forbidden :) "Forbidden" it was surprise probably they have had a reason to use that word. It would be perfect to have breakfast at terrace with fresh air !!!
Anyway also need little bit work to fix some details at the rooms. For example Shower Glass was broken. &To motivate the staff from the management will be perfect...! The reason of 4 star it will be help to them may be to make it better!

Hotel ve manzara Güzel. Garipsenen şey kahvaltıyı terasta yapmaya çalıştığımızda personel tarafından verilen tepkinin "Terasta Kahvaltı yapmak yasak" Muhtemelen geçerli bir sebepleri vardır.!
Odalarda biraz daha bakım gerekli örneğin duşa kabin camının kırık olması, klozet fırça sapının kırık olması gibi detayların incelenmesinde fayda var demek isterim...

4 olarak değerlendirme yapılmasının nedeni ise biraz daha gayretlerle daha iyi olması yönünde, Belirttiğim gibi manzarası güzel bir hotel.!!!

Her şey güzeldi fakat sabah resepsiyona gidip ödeme yapacağımızda bize 280 tl fiyat çıkardılar biz hotels.com dan 47€ oda aldık bize açıklamaları bize horels.com dan mail gelmedi gibi bahaneler söylediler sonuçta 47€ ödedik ama verdikleri tepkiden huzursuz olduk.

The apple palace son derece ideal misafirlerine oldukça önem gösteren bi tesis. Konumuyla ve muhteşem manzarasıyla doğa severlerin ve fotoğraf tutkunları icin bi nimet. Ayrıca isletmenin, olağan bi sorun bi pürüz karşısında çözüm odaklı oluşu, bu konudaki hassasiyeti takdire değer. Amasyada olup kaliteli bi otelde konaklamak istiyosanız The Apple Palace'ı bi değerlendirin derim.

Otel konumu çok güzel manzara harika konaklamak için ilk tercih edeceğimiz bir yer her kese tavsiye ederim.

A very nice place with a beautiful view over the city! The rooms are clean and comfy. The kitchen is very good. Next time I definitely will try the spa area.
Unfortunately the stuff doesn't speak English.

The room had a great view of the city and surrounding hills.
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired,our friends found cockroaches in their room!
The shower leaked and formed a puddle by the door.
Breakfast was fine.
Wouldn't want to stay more than 1 night.

The hotel was quite nice. Our rooms had recently been renovated and were spacious with great views. The renovations were a little suspect in places, my shower made a screeming noise even at quite low pressure and the air conditioner dripped into the door way to the balcony. The staff were friendly, however the food and the food service was disappointing. We loved Amasya and the view from the hotel over to the Pontic tombs was fantastic but this hotel is quite a way out of town, so they really need to get the food right as its too far to go into town for a meal from here.

We stayed in this hotel for one night but wished we had several. It is clean, modern and has a superb view of the valley below. The restaurant had an excellent buffet menu for both breakfast and dinner and a trolley containing alcoholic drinks was brought around for those who wanted a drink with their meal, despite this being a relatively "dry" town. At all times, the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Even though it is a fair way out of town, this is a great place to stay.

Stayed here overnight on a tour to Eastern Turkey. The Palace had a lot of potential but didn't live up to it.

Loved the view from my room over Amasya and especially to the mountain on the other side of town. Felt the Palace was just a bit far out of the CBD to allow any exploration at night.

The room really needed an update but even so it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom at first looked a bit moldy in the shower but a closer examination showed it was just strangely coloured material between the tiles.

The dinner and breakfast buffets were quite ordinary.

Beakfast not that good. Room was big and poorly decorated, not even modern at all.Bathroom was very dirty and full of mold which is not acceptable at a 4 star hotel. The A/C was doing noises so loud we couldnt sleep but we couldnt turn it off coz it was so cold. We put the DND sign and still been bothered ...we had rented a car because there is no public transport fom the city centre to the hotel. Beside the panorama view the hotel literally sucks!
