terrific well worth it
Pros:

nice hotel great room with balcony access great staff all good and reasonable price in town so great base for exploring and staff pointed out town highlights to see grandson loved new playground with flying fox

Trains roaring thru at 2.30am in the morning, also we were given the wrong key for the wrong room we opened the door to a couple on the bed doing the horizontal folk dance..

Exceeded our expectations.
Pros:

I was surprised at what they offered it was very good overall. Clean spacious and in good condition.

Cons:

No bar fridge.

Worst sleep I have had in a hotel (single room)
Pros:

Cheap, good staff, the bathroom across the hallway was excellent.

Cons:

The room had no sound barrier from the street or the freight train line approx 50m away, which passed 4+ times that night. I had earplugs in and was woken every time.

The room and bed were on a significant slope. I had to rotate the bed, so it was in line with the slope of the room just to be able to sleep.

The old single-pane window didnt latch closed and had a large air gap, so street/train sound went straight through.

The room also didn't have any sound barrier from the hallway, so I was woken again by a patron.

Lovely room but avoid weekend stays if you’re a solo female traveller
Pros:

Good value for money stay during a solo road trip.

Cons:

The room and its facilities were great, the hotel was lovely, its patrons less so. I was there on a weekend night and the sound of the drunken patrons downstairs in the bar and in the streets yelling obscenities till all hours made me feel unsafe as a solo female traveller
