Pros:

I loved everything about the hotel except for the lady that was in the second desk. Not the check in but the one that was down the hall. She was the rudest lady I've ever met in my life

Wonderful weekend away
Pros:

An upscale five star boutique Hotel with a wonderful service. In-house additional amenities.

Cons:

There is really only one option for parking which is valet. Definitely go that route to make your life easier.

Happenstance find of a true gem
Pros:

A random selection from the American Express Fine Hotels collection. Was going to a bowl game and picked property closest to the stadium. Round up being one of the best Fine Hotels we ever stayed in. Large suite. Clean, quiet renovated old department store. Everything was first class. If you need a place in downtown Charlotte walking distance from theatre, sporting venues, etc. I would highly recommend The Ivey.

Excellent, I will definitely return .
Pros:

It was cozy and comfortable.

Cons:

It was cold in the bathroom, and the room…
But they fixed that by giving us a space heater…. Problem solved. They may want to put a rug in front of the toilet for some warmth, it is very cold on the floors.

Never again
Pros:

DONT BOTHER! Very noisy, only one floor above a club and on a busy street. The only higher floors are privately owned, so there’s no escaping the noise. Despite asking for the quietest room, I was placed next to a stairwell that was especially busy due to the broken elevator, and a stairwell window kept the room from ever being dark. I asked for a fan, they have none. They have white noise machines but all were taken up by other people. Big surprise! I also called ahead and couldn’t get anyone on the phone for two hours before arrival. They seem understaffed.Overpriced for what’s offered—don’t waste your money.
