A pleasant stay at a very conveniently located B&B!
Pros:

We had a pleasant stay at Island View - the location was great for our trip, situated on the A1, so very convenient for our onward journey. The room with ensuite was well equipped and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was great too, with continental and cooked choices. Thanks to Simon too, for his recommendations for local attractions (which we ended up doing and had a great time!)

Cons:

Whilst not an issue for us directly, the B&B is located directly next to the busy A1. Naturally, traffic noise is a factor - we are used to traffic noise where we live but for light sleepers, this could be a factor to consider and prepare accordingly with earplugs etc. It's a small place, so naturally there's noise heard from neighbouring rooms / doors closing etc. - again not an issue for us though.

Pros:

Breakfasts were lovely!!! and the staff were great!!!

Cons:

The shower had a mind of its own but we got it working. I also had put my ear plugs in because I could hear a heater or boiler or something - My hysband couldn't hear it though.....

Would most definitely return for another stay and longer next time
Pros:

Location was great easy to find
Rm was lovely and comfortable very clean nice comfortable bed and great comfort bedding
Breakfast was lovely and quick plenty choice
Staff were very friendly and considerate in wanting to make sure we arrived ok and had enjoyed our stay

Pros:

Would have missed breakfast due to leaving early, was then brought a mixture of cereals and milk so children could eat before departure

Cons:

Mattress was a little soft but thats personal preference
