Pros:

Breakfast staff being quick, polite and helpful.

Cons:

Instant coffee, faulty cot you need to assemble yourself at late hour when baby’s exhausted tired. Doors that don’t open and close properly.

Lovely break away next door to holy Island
Pros:

Bed was comfy, staff were lovely, it was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and they remembered little details from the night before.

Cons:

I’m a coffee snob and won’t drink instant coffee and that’s what I got at breakfast. The tea was yummy though!

Pros:

Pretty quiet, but probably down to the time of year and the recent amount of rainfall over the last few weeks.
Good breakfast with a decent selection of evening meals.
Excellent hosts in Sarah and Simon.

Cons:

My room was comfortable though a proper armchair rather than a dinning chair would add to the comfort.
TV to high up in the corner of the room resulted in a aching neck.

Very good place to stay en-route to Edinburgh. Good meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Clean comfortable bedroom. We look forward to our next visit.

Arrived as customers, left as friends. Already looking at dates to stay again.
Pros:

For a B&B, all you need is a comfy bed and a smashing breakfast - and this place delivered! As a bonus, Simon the owner is one of the nicest people you could meet. Nothing was too much trouble. Natural rapport with people, very easy to talk too - we felt "at home " immediately. Absolutely brilliant with my children too. View from room was gorgeous.

Cons:

Nothing to not like for us! As we mentioned to Simon, the only suggestion we have was to put a copy of the menu in the information pack in the room!

Comfy room and an excellent breakfast with friendly owners
Pros:

Was met by Simon when we said we would arrive, very friendly and gave us a lot of local information.
Brilliant breakfast in the morning and could not have been more accommodating.
Rooms were fine cosy, exactly as advertised.

Cons:

Location a little remote but everything within a short driving distance.
