Perfectly located and peaceful, paired with outstanding hospitality.

My stay at Bariakov Family Hotel was truly outstanding. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. One of the biggest advantages is the hotel’s location - just a short six-minute walk to the gondola, which makes it incredibly convenient for skiing or going out at any moment of they day/night. At the same time, it’s tucked away from the busy streets, so it remains wonderfully quiet and perfect for a restful night’s sleep.

The breakfast was delicious and homemade, with a great selection of both sweet and savory options - plenty to keep you full and satisfied for the day. Veronika was an amazing host; she even arranged a reservation for us at Bariakov Tavern, where we had a fantastic experience.

I will definitely stay here again every time I visit Bansko.

Cosy stay with friends
Pros:

Cute family run hotel. Location was great, only about 7 minutes by walk to the gondola and close to tons of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was nice, it use to change per day and we had hot and cold dishes with pastries and cereal. A shuttle was offered from Sofia airport. They also have a place to store your ski equipment

Cons:

Bed was a bit too hard for me, but I still slept

Very nice family owned small hotel, sparkling clean, nice owner and staff. They make you feel like home.
No elevator but they are helping with the luggage.
Parking place.
Great location, near the gondola, ski rentals and all attractions.

Quiet hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Excellent location. Really quiet and the staff were all lovely - particularly the Ukrainian lady who produced the breakfast every morning. She went out of her way a number of times to make sure I had the type of tea I prefer and also to make me porridge (which was really tasty). Veronica is warm & friendly and always willing to help eg. Organising a taxi when we needed it. I would be happy to recommend the Bariakov.

Cons:

I had a single room and the en-suite in the single rooms is very small. To be fair they made the most of the available space but it is very compact. The only other issue I had would not be an issue for everyone. I find it hard to sleep if the room is bright & owing to a window as well as a glass door to a balcony, both with light curtains, the room got bright very early. I would recommend bringing portable black out blinds to reduce the light if you are someone that prefers a dark room when sleeping. But again, this was more my problem as opposed to the hotel’s problem

Boravili smo 4 dana u ovom smeštaju i možemo reći da smo izuzetno zadovoljni. Smeštaj je bio odličan – uredan, komforan i veoma prijatan za boravak. Sve je bilo besprekorno čisto i dobro organizovano.

Osoblje i vlasnici su izuzetno ljubazni, srdačni i uvek spremni da pomognu, što je dodatno doprinelo pozitivnom utisku. Posebno bismo izdvojili doručak koji je bio odličan – raznovrstan, svež i veoma ukusan.

Toplo preporučujemo ovaj smeštaj svima koji žele prijatan i bezbrižan boravak.

We stayed at Bariakov Hotel for four nights during our winter holiday, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The location is excellent — very close to Gondola and ski shuttles. Everything was easily accessible, which made our holiday even more comfortable and stress-free.

The rooms were clean, warm, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with fresh and tasty options every morning.

Most importantly, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We would especially like to thank Veronika for her warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. She made us feel truly welcome and valued as guests.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely choose Bariakov Hotel again for our next winter vacation. Highly recommended!
